He got teased pretty bad for it when he was a kid. I think they named me Cloud to pass on the suffering, although I'm glad I have it now.

A lot of people think his name is an extension of our last name, like ???? Van Dyke or Ludwig Van Beethoven. Or even Abraham Van Helsing. He gets the funniest junk mail sometimes. I've seen a Mr. Van Van -----, Mr. A Van -----, Mr. Van-----, etc. (I'd rather not put my last name on a public forum.)
