Never liked Ezra Miller - Flash and he was worse in this movie IMO since he had more screen time.

All others characters were far improved though. Snyder could've definitely cut out an hour from the film, parts dragged for me but overall way better than Joss's film.

I'll be writing a 6 part series of posts, with a prologue, and about 4-5 epilogue posts, on why this movie sucks. It will be an epic. I challenge any of you to debate my points.

You are quite the little keyboard warrior there ducky. Aren?t you the guy who professed to have more degrees than someone else the other day? Those people are always awesome in real life. I didn?t even like the movie very much and I want you to go away...

Finally finished JL. I really can?t believe what WB did to this movie, this version is fantastic! I?ll cover some negative points first cause you guys seem to post here most weirdly. No spoilers.

- Batman isn?t the master tactician here as much as I?d like, He seems to fumble around. He?s more bland than in BvS and Alfred seems annoying this time around too.

- Superman is underserved again. Not much dialogue, and he?s portrayed as evil in most of the film. I?m dying for MOS2 for some real Superman material for Cavil

- Aquamans intro is largely the same. ?Your out your mind Bruce Wayne? is Snyder not Josh, yikes. Followed by awkward singing by the villagers.

-Steppenwolf has a cute puppy face?

For the Pros. Every aspect of this film is improved upon in this. The only thing Josstice league had better was Superman?s ?I?m a fan of JUSTICE? line.

- The action scenes are incredible. Can?t believe they got chopped up or cut out like they did

- Batman kicks *** again, he wipes out many Parademons here! He was a useful member of the team

- Cyborg is a fully fleshed out character and is very well acted by Fisher, id love to see more of him!

-Flash is much more likeable this time around. His running effects are much much better.

-WonderWoman is not to be ****ed with in this film, she will mess you up, and I?m all for it! She needs a mythical Indie style solo flick!

-The villain(s) are well realised, intimidating, much better designs too

- even secondary characters are great. Mira surprisingly is awesome here!

- he did it, he fixed Joker! This alternate universe looks like a great and unique movie! I hope we get it!
He even fixed Lex here too. He?s not buggy and twitchy anymore

The Ducky's Justice League. Prologue

The toxic twitterverse got its wish. The Zach Snyder Justice League cut has arrived. Seemingly an exercise in a fanboyism, with a cult like following, ZSJL is twice as long and just as bad.

Snyder smacks you in the face in a very Snyder way by recapping the events of BvS. Tone deaf music, useless and overuse of slow motion, truly terrible CGI (Lex in the pool amongst the other mid 2000ish video game graphics). Superman's scream alerting the heroes and seemingly awakening the Martha Boxes was not only ridiculous, but hilarious. Right off the bat we know that the $70 million didn't actually improve the effects, just doubled them.

Prologue Rating: 1/10

Keep em' coming Ducky...

I don't want to waste 4 hours of my life by re visiting JL & the DCEU of past. Let me do it through your eyes...

I'm sure your review will be much more entertaining than the movie would be for me. Hearing I need to see Lex again is reason enough for me to stay away.

I wonder in watching the theatrical release again from streaming library ..the Aquaman Lasso gag that I missed in this Snyder cut, I realized the way he pulled the lasso from him , it looked like he was pulling it from either is butt or his privates. I wonder if that is why they took it out

Yep I noticed Lex's lack of twitchiness as well. And I love the "whoa, what led to this" aspect of

the Knightmare sequence with Bats working with the guy who was just hired to kill him a moment earlier (Deathstroke) and of course the interaction between him and the Joker.

I agree with pretty much all of your other points, though I actually quite grew to like Steppenwolf's new face. It helped that the CGI was even better than his theatrical face which I was not expecting. Supes was cool and thankfully not the epic meme joke he was in the Whedon cut but yeah otherwise he was a bit flat as a character. But that's fine because the heart of the film were the other five team members.

I really enjoyed it, not saying it was perfect but it was very bittersweet as it sets up so much that we won't see any more

No more batfleck in his standalone film, the new wonder woman was awful, we won't see how Martian manhunter fits in, no actual good version of joker, no kicking darkseid's ***, so much potential down the pan

I think editing really makes a difference cause I HAAAAYYYTED Ezra's Flash the first time around, and in this version I actually liked him.

Still not a fan of how he twitches his eyes around all the time.

Never would have believed if you'd have told me 3 years ago that he'd have the best scene in the movie, but I really enjoyed the "saving Iris" scene the best.

And no, Ducky, he wasn't "creeping" on her. That little scene was something we used to call "romance" when I was a kid, but now the media would have you believing it's "toxic masculinity" and he should have just let her get killed by the crashing truck cause how dare he take away her empowerment by "rescuing" her.

I also really loved the Joker scene and wish it had been longer.

If you build it they will come!! If the overwhelming majority of people like this film and people are vocal about it (e.g social media) at&t will green light part 2. Thats all but guaranteed no matter what zs has said. They need something to compete with disney plus and that would do the trick especially if part 2 and 3 remain exclusive to hbo max

I shouldn?t have tell 40-50 year old men, but typically, when discussing a film, you actually attack the film and not the person. Very sad so few here realize their behavior. Maybe you should read some of the replies and see all the insults. Don?t get your panties in a bunch when I treat others the way they treated me.

Lots of tough talk from the lot of you because I?m not slobbering up a crapfest. I?ve already made posts about how this movie was bad, the problems with it, yet you and others ignored them and dream up mosts I never made.

It?s ok to like a bad movie and it?s ok to admit this movie is VERY bad.

What you are seemingly forgetting is the vast majority watching this are those dedicated enough to Snyder to watch a four hour cut of a 2017 movie that bombed. Let?s ask the casual audience, the ones who hated BvS and JL, the ones who get those streaming numbers up, the ones not whining on twitter, how they feel about this. It won?t be pretty.

Some folks were going to trash this movie regardless, some folks were going to praise it regardless. This was a very good movie. It wasn't "Endgame" or "Civil War," but it would certainly rank in the mix with Marvel flicks as opposed to being 100 slots below. If I were Whedon or a WB exec I wouldn't want to show my face.

Ducky you brought the PT into this discussion like you do in every thread. And yes i do think justice league part 2 could easily compete with the “crapfest” called wanda vision. Talk about a complete waste of ****ing time. The two most powerful characters in the mcu are now women why because disney doesnt care about good movies anymore they care about their agenda. You hated the ST but that is what the mcu is turning into. They wont even fire kk, the ceo had the nerve to tell board members that she is doing a good job when they questioned why she was still employed

Finished it and it was decent. Certainly better than the other iteration and better even than either version of BvS.

It's not something I'd rewatch any time soon, maybe later on down the road after I've forgotten most of it.

I know it's wishful thinking but it would be great if this serves as some kind of example for these big studios to just keep their noses out of a director's busuness unless something majorly wrong's going on like the Bryan Singer stuff with bohemian rhapsody.
