If Snyder kills Cyborg, then he will be the soul of the film.

I honestly wouldn?t care. I don?t know how it was but when I was young I saw cyborg as a teen Titan and energetic. Not some moody guy who is soft spoken. But atleast he said ? boo yah? in the movie. That made me smile admist the crap I was watching

Funny, that was Fisher's least favourite part and he had to be cajoled into it.

I dont know which version you are referring to he was always brooding a bit in the comic. It's true to form that he is like this.

In teen Titans he was a loud jock type character who was comedic relief along with beast boy. He had serious episodes but he was fun and the heart of the group and didn?t brood at all like robin

Now Snyder is saying that the Joker was never in his script.

This should be called Snyder Cut Plus.

So Jye's "Snyder Cut Plus" comment is accurate. To be fair, if he'd never been interfered with and then ultimately replaced there's no telling what would have made his original cut, what with the typical reshoots that occur. That said, it's doubtful any studio head would have approved of Letoker's inclusion after his shenanigans on Suicide Squad.

When did people start viewing Snyder as a genius? Like what sparked that? After dawn of justice I felt like a small handful of Dc fans started calling him a genius a d we did t understand his work. But nothing the man did was groundbreaking. Except for having superman outright snap a dudes neck

I wouldn't go so far as calling him a genius, but I find his movies really interesting. He does take the questions raised by the idea of super-human beings actually existing on earth, and how they might be perceived, seriously. Whether he successfully addresses those questions and comes up with satisfactory ways of presenting them in his movies is up to the beholder. But I do find his more "serious" take on the superhero genre (without sacrificing the fantasy elements) very refreshing and thought-provoking in ways I don't see in other superhero movies, be it MCU, X-Men or Sony's Spiderman movies.
Add to that that he has a very unique style for his "comic-book" adaptations and you have a very compelling and interesting take on the genre.

I like 300 and Watchmen. Superman was interesting but to me not great. Cavill would be fine in the role I think if the movie wasnt so bleak. Superman Batman was crammed with too many things and didnt really adapt any of the greatest hits of stories they pulled from. I think his version of Justice League will be better than theatrical because it is his from start to finish. Great cast for the trinity though I think. Maybe Flash can actually look like he knows how to run in this one.

I think what set those apart was that 300 and Watchmen were already stories that he simply adapted. Zach has a very good visual style in my opinion so he was able to apply that well on those films. He isn't however, that great at story. Sucker Punch comes into mind. 300: Rise of an Empire wasn't received well too.

I reckon his films have an epic feel, though many say they're just overblown.

By comparison the MCU is more HBO, to me at least.

300 was what put him on the map. No one had done what he'd done prior to that, so it really turned heads.

But he turned out to be a one-trick pony. Everything he does is dark and rainy all the the time.

Though Dawn of the Dead was really good, I still enjoy that movie, and there were actually some scenes that took place during the daytime, when the sun was shining bright and the colors weren't all desaturated. It's like he made 300 and then realized a B/W color palette looked really cool, so he muted all the color in the rest of his movies.
