Word has leaked what was the main deciding factor and the ONLY deciding factor why the cut was changed from a mini series to now only a single movie.
Ok everyone guess what the reason was c?mon now it?s not a hard one it?s the only logical reason behind why anything ever happens lol

Every agent, lawyer and accountant wanted mini series level renegotiations quadruple pay for everyone involved including future distribution!

Yikes. Idk how this studio is still standing. Didn't they hire this guy. Now they are praying for his downfall but also giving him his snyder cut but also praying it fails. I....... huh?

Totally. I mean that's a mega huge ego to be so against something just because you could be essential proved you made some wrong decisions.
Anyone else would say OK, this is what the fans clearly want, the theatrical Josstice League was pretty crap if I'm honest with myself and Zach had a personal tragedy so let's just go with it.
But no, he and Hamada are actively fighting against it. How petty is that ?

No question I'm glad we're getting the movie. But.....
keeping it as a movie as far as the continuation of the JL goes increases risk of it not happening.
A week to week release would have drawn more viewers and talk, buzz, reviews etc etc. They could have released it as a movie as well shortly thereafter anyway. But I get it......contracts and money.
As it currently stands, how many casual people will be turned off to watch a 4 hour movie ? Many I would say. I'm talking normies here, not fans.
It's such a shame, as the completion of the arc with JL2 and JL3 will be driven by subscriptions and views on HBOMax.
A series would have made it more palatable for many, therefore increasing views and subscriptions. Therefore making it that much easier to justify completion of the arc with JL2 and JL3.
In any case I'll do my damndest to ensure HBOMax get's the message we want more, tweets, subscription myself and friends, merch, movie views etc etc.
Play as a team Mr Emmerich. The team is bigger than the individual with an inflated ego !

Supposedly WB NEVER wanted this. They wanted JL dead and forgotten and Snyder in the past and no longer tied to the DCEU. It was the AT&T Execs that forced them into giving Snyder a crack at his JL SNydercut cut due to social media chatter. AT&T was hoping all the buzz would make people care and see new HBOMax sign ups. They are also the ones behind the WB movies going straight to streaming. WB wanted neither, but was forced by AT&T.
So, I assume they want all these decisions to be failures so AT&T will leave them alone...

I for one am super happy that Snyder will at least get to finish 95% of his vision especially after the tragedy in his family...

The harsh reality is that while WB is giving us JL again Marvel is already breaking new ground with Mando and WV
Jeezus Marvel is now turning tertiary characters into a household name while WB is giving us a movie from FOUR YEARS AGO!
