About a month ago, a friend of mine from OSW (Tank Mechanic) and I began to restore an unreleased prototype 21st Centruy 1:6 scale Alternate History WW2 Mech that I was fortunate enough to buy. It was in rough shape, broken and dismantled, with parts missing, etc. I absolutely would never have been able to repair this thing if it was not for the skill and expertise of Tank Mechanic. He did all the heavy lifting, by fabricating new parts, fixing the old ones and repairing the electronics. I am basically responsible for the painting, the figures and making the diorama.
He has asked that I not show the completed Mech until it's displayed at FamCon in May. He believes that some of the "wow" factor will be lost if I plaster pictures of this beauty before the show and I agree with him.
The folks at FamCon have kindly agreed to give me a table so that I can display the completed Mech, along with a large diorama, with accompanying figures that I am building.
I don't think Mark will mind that I show 2 small teasers of the Mech and part of the dio. I don't think it gives away much, but gives the viewer an idea of whats to come.
Thanks for looking!
