:horrorWhoa! I just had a scary moment of clarity where I saw a nice Michael J. Fox doll instead of a high end 1/6 custom action figure.:slap

It's okay though. I'm back.:lol Back to the future.:wink1:

I re-read this, and it kinda sounds like I'm being a ____, but I didn't mean it as a knock on the quality at all. It is definitely a high end 1/6 action figure. Seeing a Marty figure of any kind just made me flash back to the 80's and all the dolls they made back then.

Sorry if I offended anybody.:monkey3

I kinda agree though.

Here's mine:

I'm missing the tape player.

And I hope I can find a way to futz these pants into a presentation I'm happy with.

Love the skateboard.

Here's mine all together ... everything in one piece.

Haven't weather the shoes yet, need to build up the courage.

I love it, I will swap out the Trev head for Ericks sculpt when it comes back from Nathan.

I'm in the middle of an Enchantment Under the Sea band bash, which this head will end up on.

I'm really looking forward to painting up Erick's version. I got one from him as well for my heads collection. The facial expression is perfect for Marty; he makes that face so much in the trilogy.

Totally agree, plus I like the idea of paying the collaboration between Erick and Rainman a little 'respect' (for want of a better word, pls not knocking others)

The cuffs on this jacket are pretty out of control when rolled, as can be seen above.

I found an easy fix. Just use a twist tie. Here's a work in progress pic so you can see where the tie is placed:

Just trim the tie so it cant be seen, curve them in a bit, and you get this:

Can't get past the mom jeans. And the elastic along the bottom of the jacket is way too tight. Without modifying the elastic it will never hang right.

Nice fix, I'll do that.

I painted my Sweeny Todd fore arms to match darker skin tone, also did the top of the shoulders / chest just in case

In all honesty, I think it's a nice set but based on what I've seen, it doesn't look to be of the standard it should be it with the price at which this cost. I really like it though, but TBH I like Maf's headless bash a lil' better. Sorry Marf. :)

Disagree. I actually think the attention to detail and accuracy are spot on. From the fit of the jeans to the lining of the jacket. There is actually quite a lot that we get for what we paid.

T-Shirt
Short sleeve button up shirt
denim jacket with lining and pin
puffer vest
accurately tailored jeans
molded sneaks
walkman with headphones
watch
skateboard

I think the price vs. end product quality and accuracy are pretty favorable if you ask me.

I agree too pictures never do any justice.I would of paid $500 just for the clothing set alone because IT'S THAT AWESOME :yess:

Excellent idea Mag, I'll definitely be doing this with mine :rock

It seems like you have a problem with the accuracy of the set, to be completely honest, man.

Like it or not, it was 1985, and Marty was rocking some mom jeans:

And the elastic on the bottom of the jacket was rather tight, pulling the bottom edges outward:

Actually, I look at this set and, aside from the minor color gripes with the cuff pattern and vest, could not be happier with how this turned out because of the accuracies that are bothering you :lol

Hey, I appreciate that Rogster :) But because of the details I mentioned above and more, I have to disagree with you :lol
