You need to realize Rainman's stuff is very limited and very expensive, so most people who get them will hold on to them having spent almost $400 for it. At that price most people can't afford extras. But there are many good alternative outfits and parts out there you can use.

Just keep an eye out in the for sale threads. While I agree with what Tekkaman said, I was able to purchase one through the for sale thread from another member. You never know when people come across hard times and need to unfortunately let go of some amazing pieces or decide to refocus their own collections. I was lucky enough to pick up two different Rainman sets that way. Also....worst case scenarios, keep an eye out on the inhouse studios set that was mentioned earlier in this thread. It contains jeans, denim jacket, and red life preserver. I'm hoping to pick up a set whenever they are released to put together a 2nd Marty.

I just realized I failed to post these pics in here :slap

Well, I know this thread has been quite for a little while, so to those still interested, I've finally (mostly) completed my Marty figure. I'll share a few pics and a short video. Lots of artist were involved with this piece getting done. I might still color match the arms and iron some wrinkles into the crotch area of the pants as suggested by Raymond Ferraro, but for now I've had enough of working on this figure. I tweaked the legs by adding thickness to the thighs and did without the feet pegs to give his a shorter stature among a few things. Amazing incredible paint job by SilentSurfer who brought the best out of Sosa's sculpt and Rainman's shoes! Of course, accessories by Dan Chung too! Enjoy!

Looks fantastic. :clap

The eyes really need to be in the position Surfer has them with that sculpt.

How are the feet attached without foot/ankle pegs?

Are those Bruce Lee hands?

Hey Maglor! Glad you like my finished Marty. I really couldn't wait to have my Marty painted up with the eyes in that position and of course SilentSurfer always kills it with his paint skills! That guy is truly amazing with his paint work! As for the feet, the shoes come with the a space carved out that is supposed to be for another foot peg connector. Instead of sticking in a connector and then having a foot peg in between, I simply shoved in the connector portion of the lower leg into the space and it fit pretty snugly on my figure. Of course you don't get the range of motion that you would get with the pegs attaching the shoe to the lower leg, but it certainly shortens the leg just the way I want it to look. Oh and the hands are from the Enterbay Mr.Han figure if I recall correctly. They just seemed to work for what I needed and they were spares laying around, so I just used them.

The hands are perfect for him.

Surprised you have any ROM at all with the ankles. :/

Here's mine (quick pics that don't do him anywhere near justice)
