I've never understood people's obsession with critics to either put down or put up movies that they like or dislike.

You know what you like, that's all that matters.

Zack loves his extended cuts. And one exists. So imagine WB will want to milk that. But if for some reason it never sees the light of day, it'll be because WB are being stingy (doubtful) or Nolan has a producer clause which prohibits anything other than theatrical versions of any film his name is on (also doubtful, but you never know with that guy).

We'll get an Extended Cut, Zack commentary, etc at some point. He loves that stuff.

I hope so. I think the EE would be even more fantastic. :hi5:

I suggest you sit for this one. :lol

Chronicle Writer Max Landis Explain His Issues with Man of Steel

Man of Steel has been nothing if not polarizing. And this is apparently true not just for the regular, movie-going fans but also for some of the folks who work in Hollywood. Like Max Landis, for example, the son of John and the writer of the superhero film Chronicle. Landis recently taped the following video rant about Man of Steel.

This guy understands the characters just about as much as Fabio understands TDKR.

.

:D

What difference does it make who's Superman? I think his point was, he doesn't need to be someone "hawt" or anything. Just a normal looking guy. And Cusack, back then, is a pretty average looking fellow.

I'm still not getting the upset here. I've seen 10 comments that say just that. He's not casting it. He's not advocating it. He's just making a point because he's a fan. Just like you guys do the same.

You're not right. He's not right. No one's right.

I suggest you sit for this one. :lol

I hate internet video. They should include a transcript.

He didn't like the way Superman was portrayed in the film, and explained his reasoning as to why, rather then just whine and *****.

If you enjoyed the film, it would not add anything as you're not going to agree with him.

Superman stands alone because he tries to save people, not bully them like Spider-Man, and isn't a crazy person like Batman who saw his parents die.

Superman grew up as a good person, and became a good person in return. Superman is a hero, and heroes don't stand tall and proud over the ruins of a city.

I paraphrased it.
