I'm of the thinking they have deals in place... like "must do X amount of products if you want the license" kind of thing.

Example being Marvel says they want at least 10 figures plus a high dollar item if Hot Toys wants the license (random numbers, I know nothing for certain). The Helicarrier might not be fan demanded (its interesting- not sure how many people will buy it though) but it is a surprise and it might fulfill the demands of the studio.

I want to cry I'm so happy right now.

I don't care how many Wolverines have been made, this is the first one from a good film.

I just hope and pray Mystique isn't the second character they announce, give us Fassneto and future Charles to build are collection around.

I really don't see them getting around to doing any other character from this movie. Like always, it's going to just be Wolverine. Took them 5 months from the release of this movie for us to only get a teaser from a DVD cover slip. Seems like it's been a struggle as it is trying to get this figure out, doubt they'll focus so much attention on doing 2-3 more. Perhaps they'll do a 70's version of Wolverine since they're able to do the future one.

I think you need to focus on hoping and praying that there IS a second character announced. I have a strong feeling there won't be.

This figure will lead to a 1970s version of Wolverine and then the line will go. HT hasn't even tried do much past him.

Up until today we didn't even know this line was officially in the works, and there still hasn't been an announcement, so I think it's far too soon to say this is the only figure we get. I wouldn't be surprised see past and future versions of Wolverine, Magneto and Xavier.

I really hope they make young magnto but I doubt they'll make anything but wolverine.

I cannot ****ing wait

Had the original Wolvie long time ago and sold it. Didn't bother with the X3 or Wolverine versions so hopefully this one will be the best likeness outta them all.

I just pray to the toy gods they make a Fassneto too :lol

I assumed this was the version we would get,but i never preferred the X-Men suit in the first 3 films or this over casual wear.If the headsculpt is good im getting that though.

Maybe it was part of their deal with Fox.

I'm just happy we're getting a figure from the film.

Re: Hot Toys Days of Future Past Wolverine coming soon?

It's always been weird to me how people really love figures of Super Heroes in civilian attire. I personally think it's the most boring thing but they seem to have no problem selling:dunno
I don't buy figures of characters in 'leisure wear' either - but with Logan, it's completely different.

Besides, I completely ignored HT' last Wolverine figure; the Reservoir Dogs version of him.. you know the 'guy in the suit' look :lol - not to mention the X3 one. I never got the Origins one back in the day..

In most cases, I would agree with you. But Wolverine is probably the best case of a really popular comic character who was dressed in civvies about as often as he was dressed in a costume, even when he was engaging baddies. So, he's the one "superhero" I would put on display in his regular civilian clothes. Another might be a Nick Fury, who would wear traditional attire while spying over the blue and white getup frequently. This is different than folks wanting Peter Parker, Steve Rogers, Clark Kent, and other civilian "identities" or "alter egos" on display. Wolverine is Wolverine, whether he's dressed up in his costume or not. And I like the civilian HT clothing for Logan because the movies at least get that right for the most part. Their "tactical" costumes just don't cut the mustard.
Precisely. :duff

I'm possibly interested in that version of Wolverine depending on the price and what it comes with.

I dunno what all that Wolverine COULD come with... seems like a barebones figure like MOS was. Hopefully it'll be no more than $200 as Superman was.

So what is the date in the bottom right alluding to? PO date? Or something unrelated to the Hot Toys figure?
