Jaw Surgery on my Birthday

I bet, as I went back and read more about this it sounds like a nightmare.

I remember the day I came home from getting braces put on my teeth. My mom was making pork chops, mashed potatoes, and green beans for dinner. It smelled soooooo good and I was determined to eat it. The pain was so excruciating, I never even got a solid piece in my mouth. Into the blender they went! It wasn't very good...

If braces were that bad, I can't imagine how bad jaw surgery must feel...

I know what you mean, when I had my gland tumor surgery... It was terrible. I woke up, I couldn't move anything on the right side of my face and couldn't close my right eye. For days I had to be careful drinking anything because it kept falling out the side of my mouth, I had to tape my eyes shut to sleep and I had to empty out the drainage tube thingy that was hanging out of my neck... it sucked.

Took me months to regain movement in my face again and be able to blink. I was close to having to wear an eyepatch.

Yea, when I had my upper and lower jaw surgery, they had to take out all four wisdom teeth before my surgery. Apparently, they are near the bone and can effect the surgery. Glad that it went okay and glad you got some pain pills.

Yes, open him up! Your pain will go away. Or you can just tell some chick with high heels to step on one of your toes. You won't even notice the pain in your jaw anymore, guaranteed!
