I've been wanting to revisit this on HBO Max but the freaking transfer is Standard Definition pan and scan! Glad I held off. I remember this being one of the more disturbing films of the 80's. Very curious to see how it holds up.

Pre-ordered the limited edition, Rutger Hauer is on another level in this movie.

I got the Rocky 4K collection today. I will pick up the Hitcher also. Love how crazy Hauer is in it.

Even for 40 year old widely known films I'm still against putting spoilers in the cover art. That was such an amazing moment when the endoskeleton rises from the fire and even if there's only two people left who aren't familiar with the endo design I still think that it should be preserved for their sake.

Was the proper audio restored and did Cameron have the same "Top Men" that worked on ALIENS and True Lies 4K handle this one as well (not that I expect anyone to dare ask him, lol.)
