The 4.0 will be the mercenaries version of the dress… being the same figure with different accessories with a preorder bonus of an additional much shorter dress using the same material and pattern.

Or even be the RE2 dress with the RE4 sculpt…. I wouldn’t actually mind that

No wonder Hot Heart didn’t bother making any looks from the re4 remake when swtoys is releasing so many Ada’s.

Figure discussions (licensed and unlicensed) in this thread is fine. Less threads means less clutter, and I think the discussions here are okay.

Ada and Jill by far getting more figures done by License and Unlicensed company then any other character.

I wish Leon got more offerings. Even superduck or SW would be fine. Just something to be able to combine them into an ultimate custom

Ada and Jill are definitely neck to neck on the most releases licensed or not. Lol from being the main character in re4 Leon sure ain’t getting the love. lol swtoys should’ve just done some deluxe Ada with her main costumer and the alt dress and called it a day. Idk now they have the 2.0 look based on a MOD. Lol even Ashley got more love than Leon.

I personally never understood the love for Ada, and seeing all of these but no Carlos or barely any Leon has me so sad.

Swtoys could’ve used their resources on a Luis or merchant. Although knowing how bad swtoys have been lately I rather have MT tackle Luis and Wesker. Have swtoys release the merchant with all the extra accessories. As for Carlos it didn’t help that 3 was a a let down and once released it’s one of the “worst” remakes to date. I still say it would’ve been a good release from that one company that gave us Hunk. just saying.

The reason Hunk worked was because we also got the rest of the RE2 line. A Carlos from “that” company without a Dam Jill to accompany it wouldn’t have made much sense.

The sculpt actually looks pretty decent. But we all know how it's really going to turn out.
I might grab the weapons and accessories when it hits ebay though.

I wonder why the market is so big for Ada as well. The only reason I can think of is that its due to her being very sexualised and her short skirt and revealing seamless body are attracting a certain pervy audience (besides the normal collectors).

Any other game or movie property would have the main focus on the main character. Which makes sense. For RE4 that somehow turned into only the female side characters being produced. Just weird.

Still dont understand why SW bothers to even make Ashley and Ada without a Leon to pair them up with. But who knows, maybe we’ll get a Leon announcement soon.

Well apparently DAM is still making a Jill, someday… who knows.

Don’t be fooled by their promo pics. Lol if it wasn’t for MT releasing their version of the reimaged red dress I would preorder this version. I’ll just wait for the parts now since we have another Ada, so the accessories will be plentiful.

Most of the ADA’s are 2.0s or even 3.0s, so they can get away with reusing parts.

But also I think most third party companies are anticipating Dam making a Leon.

If Dam put Leon up for order tomorrow it will hurt the sales of Mttoy Leon but imagine it will boost the sales of the many Ada’s.

Similar with how we got a couple third party Claire’s and Ada’s from the RE2 remake but no Leon as Dam had that covered.

i think at this point im kinda over the idea of a RE3R Jill and would prefer them to focus their efforts on RE4R or the upcoming RE projects especially if Code Veronica is the next Remake.

I have the collectors statue, didn’t care for the game and wasn’t really feeling the “generic” redesign and would happily skip RE3 Jill if it meant we got a 4 Leon or CV Claire, Chris or Wesker faster.

Assuming CV is the next remake is CV and it’s good.

I don’t wanna be all hyped up for the next RE game whatever it is, wanting figures only to see Dam drop a RE3R Jill from 6 games prior especially when anyone desperate for a Jill probably has something pretty awesome already put together from the many third party figures.

It would still be a day one preorder for me, il just be salty about it.

To the poor soul currently debating whether to buy that 3.0 Ada or not. A friendly reminder of SW’s “quality” products.

I used to like swtoys but their latest is so bad… great for the extra accessories(weapons) but the bodies are crap, sculpts always end up looking too anime or zero resemblance to the character and the clothes can be an issue if you plan on body swap and the footwear ends up looking like something that comes wing a Barbie. Plus they have the issue of oversized or undersized sculpts/footwear etc.

The over-saturation of Adas really is leaving me baffled. Seriously, what the heck is going on?

It's this mindset which has shelved many of my custom ideas but with how little range these manufacturers now seem to have, I've given up on waiting.

It says something when the only complete Wesker figs on the market are the HT ones and the upcoming Present Toys 'Schemer'. No STARS Jills besides the ancient SWToys one. No quality Rebeccas, no Barry. You'd think a Carlos would be done, being the best thing out of REmake3. But hey, least we can have an Ada with poseable eyes, right? Hmmmm...

I'm giving up on waiting for figures being released, I'm just gonna build the buggers. At least I'll know they're of acceptable quality that way, too!
