You know I've always liked Orca: The Killer Whale, lol. It did the "this time it's personal" bit way before JAWS 4 but in a way that I've always found to be kinda freaky.

Solo. Never watched it in theaters but IMO deserves more credit than it gets - great villain, good performances even if parts are so dark I squint.

Guy Ritchie's The Covenant - terrific script and performances, awesome film.

Just watched the covenant last night.
Awesome film, like really really good.
Better than so many other recent Afghan conflict films - solid script, great cinematography, great casting is & the writing is on point.
True story too.
If you haven’t seen it watch it.
Great taste sassafras 👍🏻

Yeah, I was surprised coz Ritchie can be pretty campy and over-the-top; IMO did an amazing job; restrained tight script; beautiful cinematography. (y)

And just sayin' even the wife in this was handled well - I've known military wives and yep, they step up to the plate.

Ritchie was the reason I hadn’t watched it! Mathew Vaughan was always the talented one between the two of them.
I don’t hate Ritchie but his style is a bit all over the place.
The covenant was just a straight up great story told really well.
Agree with all points!
we’re friends now 😂😂😂
