So finally got my Shards of Narsil. I'm actually pretty impressed with it! Beautifully done. I like that they updated it with the colors.

Aragorn/Strider display complete now until I get my cloak from 2double8ight.

Here is mine after a few tweaks ( red shirt from Asmus, heavy weathering of vest, repaint of the belt with some small adjustments, I know he never wore the Anduril sheath, but I just can’t believe he held the sword all that time in his hand in the movie, so I used the ACI Anduril and sheath

Brilliant! I'm so glad you opened the vest to show the shirt details. The rest of you...take note! This is how he's supposed to look!

He doesn't carry the shards in the movie, they're at Rivendell the whole time are they not? Him carrying the hilt around is only in the books as far as I know.

In Return of the King when he gets Anduril - the horse flees when they enter the paths of the dead / Ered Nimrais - so after that we only see him wielding Anduril but he has no sheath ….until he wears the Kings uniform

Think it’s telling that nobody has posted pics of their sculpted version yet, will be because it looks nowhere near as good as the rooted. I’m certainly giving myself a big pat on the back for getting the rooted.

It’s telling because no one has them.... yet.

That statue really looks great with the InArt Shards of Narsil. I foresee a lot more collectors seeking this out.

Looks great. What product did you use on the hair?

So is the idea one displays the figure with the scabbard OR the sword? Looks like they are both placed the same position on the belt. Also, what is with the "bundled cloak"? That is not placed on the figure, is it? Would he hold it? weird.

The bundled cloak is wrapped around his torso after the Fellowship leaves Rivendell. It's sort of iconic for the "Fellowship" costume for Aragorn.

Does anyone else have a thin line of shiny gloss along the upper eyelid fold of his right eye? It's hardly noticable but it looks intentionally painted so I was curious if I was the only one lol

great idea ! Thanks ;-)

Finaly got arround posing him up with Gandalf and took some proper shots. Overall i am pretty blown away how he looks now. Only used some water on the hair. Had some trouble inserting the hands but with a twist and some force i always manage to lock them in. Now bring on the rest ! I'll take them all !
