Wow this guy looks so much nicer in person. Actually a pretty heavy figure too!

But honestly I am still scared to pose him in extreme bends at the joints. One youtube reviewer said that when he crunched the figure forward at the waist, the seams on the back of the shirt split! So be careful when ab crunching!!

Awesome figure! Hope they don't price hike others in the line since IM is over $200 already.

Also still wish a company could do a correctly scaled height Wolvie! haha
I photoshopped how tall he would be if he were correct height in scale...this would be nice:

I feel like the height is fine, for the body. You can't just make him shorter, and have it be "in scale.' He would need to be a lot bulkier. I always picture Wolverine being built like Taz.

I got this today, and echoing others, this figure is better in person than in pics, and the claw and mask "wing" lengths aren't really issues as i initially thought from photos. Similar to the brown suit variant in that way.

Heavy, sturdy feeling figure with spandex that also feels durable and to be of high quality. These wolverine figures are, in my opinion, some of the best hot toys values in memory. The fact that they are close to comic accurate versions of the greatest marvel character of them all makes it that much sweeter.

One claw came off trying to swap the hands but easily glued back in. Other than that this guy is a beast. Love it. Shorter than my modded sideshow version and looks way better. Tried the sideshow shorts on him but I don’t really think it’s necessary. Unless someone makes a pair of shorts the same color as the stock ones.

That's one thing I'm curious about. I don't have the nerve to mess around and find out, but based on the initial promo pics (and description of "retractable claws") it appears that they meant for the claws to be removable and interchangeable with the other hands. But when I looked at the claw cavities for the alternative hands I couldn't imagine them staying in there. And I don't get the impression they are using magnets or the like. I wonder if they just changed their mind about it.

Yeah. The claw just popped out of the port on the silver things on the top of the hand. Only connected by a really small tab at the end of the claw. Not sure how they planned to swap them but friction alone won’t hold them in.

Very happy with this release. The height and body are near perfect and I can’t stop looking at this on the shelf. It is super sturdy and looks close enough to the cartoon and comics to me. Highly recommended to anyone still on the fence.

Forgot to post this photos over here. I tried to push for more dynamic poses with the figure.
Amazing shots. And this is such a great figure for posing.

I think so many of us 1/6 collectors almost get accustomed to stiff figures in cumbersome outfits that don't move or pose well, sticking with our static museum poses, and accepting that as necessary evils most of the time.

So when I see a figure that looks this good that poses up a storm and comes alive I really value it. You really did a good job making him look dynamic and energetic.

Thank you, I tried my best!

On a related note, I found this figure to be more pliable in the arms than the brown version for some reason. With the brown one I'm worried of damaging the armature trying some of the poses I get easily with this guy.
