JND will make them with functional proton packs and ghost traps that catch real ghosts and spirits.

JND lately has been making some horrific figures -- Indy and Joker, anyway.

I hope with everything else Blitzway has fixed, that they don't have these new GBs as nearly 13 inch figures again.

The last disappointing Blitzway figure i got was Jimi Hendrix. I still ordered Kurt Cobain, but haven't opened it. From photos it looks great. I also ordered that Michael Jackson 1/4 statue, which i haven't received yet. However, the influencer batches look phenomenal.

Wait, they have new sculpts? Dammit, I thought I could skip this because I have the previous Egon--but that new Sculpt looks significantly better. Now I'm on the hook for Egon, at least.

And the selling begins! 😂😂

I've never been a big fan of Ghostbusters. Ever since I first saw the original it felt like the idea was better than the execution. Only later, after discovering Hellboy and the Bureau for Paranormal Research and Defense, I realised it was because I wanted their world to be more like his, and their business to be a small time mirror of the BPRD.

When I look at my Blitzway Ghostbusters I imagine them existing in a more serious world.

The new releases look to have enough improvements and additions to warrant purchase. Hopefully Winston has a second sculpt to enable the original figure to be upgraded.

Hopefully also, the wands will firmly attach to the packs. The current ones are so precarious that it can take numerous attempts to get one to stay in place.

With two sets the originals could be displayed in more action poses holding the wands.

I don't have the 1st version that F****** sclapers sold at thief price for years, so this reissue even better than V1 is D1 for me (y)

I really don’t need this but I may consider getting it if the price for all 4 isn’t too absurd

I mean Star Ace charging $285 so my guess for Blitzway will be $320-$360 which seems fair.

I can see Star ace pulling the plug on theirs nobody is paying $285 for a star ace figure anyway.

Do you think they’ll make a cheaper deal if they make a 4 pack or it’ll be same price if they sell them individually?

i think, you might get a 30 - 50 bucks off the most. I think they rather put some extras in the set, like with Slimer or this police barricade. As Blitzway seems to be busy with so much other stuff, i presume these figs will take more than a year again, before they get released. time to save up for this grail :-D

If anything I might pick up Winston as I have the original four and no desire to upgrade. I held off on Winston originally because I was hoping Blitzway would be releasing GB2 which would have given the opportunity to have a character with a slime blower. Hopefully this new updated Winston matches with the trio I have at home. If it's too drastic I may abandon my idea.

I know business is business, and Star Ace has never lived up to the expectations many collectors have for what their products should be. But, I feel kind of bad for Star Ace in this situation. What a punch in the gut to go through all the trouble and investment to secure the license, release a couple of figures for pre-order, then get crushed like this by a company that really knows what it's doing going back to the well that they previously said they wouldn't.

I am honestly not wowed by the new sculpts for Ray and Venkman, but Egon and Winston look incredible.

Tbh Star ace now knows exactly how collectors feel when they buy a star ace product and the quality is that of a $20 toy! Screw that company they've been screwing us for years to the point that they block and limit comments.

I'm honestly glad Blitzway stepped in seeing how huge the demand would be I will say alot of companies seem to have the license for Ghostbusters right?
