True. But he'd make some early 2000's type slop with dated visuals. Maybe try and create his own universe out of spiteyet he would never allow joker 2

No argument here. I just don't like the guy cause his decisions affect my favorite superhero.joker 2 is worse than spiderman 3
joker 2 is worse than morbius
joker 2 is basically worst than Amazing Spider-Man 2
same as madam web
While I disagree it’s just your taste. I’m happy that films can differ from go lucky coloring books with happy/heroic endings. It’s what keeps them, and art in general interesting. Imagine if every drawing you you saw was a family holding hands outside of their home done in crayons, like ones you see on a refrigerator. Pretty stale imo.Personally, I'm not into films that involve nothing but tragedy with no redemption arch. And that's what this story basically is. I felt like I needed a Prozac after watching them back to back. I was not uplifted or inspired in any way.
**** both these movies, man.
I’d watch Joker 2 backwards in spanish rather than sitting through Madam Web.joker 2 is worse than spiderman 3

I get what you're saying. But that's kinda the far other end of the spectrum. I'm not into happy go lucky, perfect world plots either. I do like my gritty, dark undertones and realism. While I disagree it’s just your taste. I’m happy that films can differ from go lucky coloring books with happy/heroic endings. Exactly, as long as it has a message and a story to tell, plus entertaining- i’m fine with the tone too.I get what you're saying. But that's kinda the far other end of the spectrum. I'm not into happy go lucky, perfect world plots either. I do like my gritty, dark undertones and realism.
But these particular films feel like it wants to show you how cruel life can be just for the sake of doing it. What exactly is the overall message I, the viewer, supposed to walk away from with this?
Oh right, something, something... mental illnesses.. something..
be thankful that Todd Phillips is not in charge of Spider-ManNo argument here. I just don't like the guy cause his decisions affect my favorite superhero.
Peter would get petered by j Jonah Jameson for sure.be thankful that Todd Phillips is not in charge of Spider-Man
I sense a new AI image coming.....Peter would get petered by j Jonah Jameson for sure.
Also wouldn’t really be Spider-Man
Sweeny Todd gotta be my favorite musical. I actually can't think of another I care much for.
Let's pretend these films were not about Joker. That it was never called Joker and any references to that character didn't exist in either of them.
How do we feel about them now?

And I'll make damn sure to avoid any films that take this path in the future, regardless of what the main character is. When you get done watching a film and feel kind of hopeless and depressed, you know your time could have been better spent doing something else.
**** both these movies, man.
Did you see his pitch for BVS?Peter would get petered by j Jonah Jameson for sure.

Well clearly I'm not speaking for the entire world here. I would have thought that to be rather obvious.Everything that you've written there is a reflection of you as a person and not of the media.
Otherwise you can apply that logic to a comedy, all it has done is made you laugh and given nothing else.
In life there's bleakness and happiness, some films or media dwell on one and some the other, others include both.
To disregard media because it has made you feel bad doesn't make it bad inherently.
