I usually try different colors out on a plastic surface, let them dry, and compare. Lighter shades of brown acrylic work well for nips.

I wanted to paint mine as well but haven’t got around to it yet

Tried adding a sweat effect after painting his nipples/scars. Not sure how i feel about it yet

Yeah the wrist peg annoys me tbh, it is the one that came with the figure though, i'll have to see if i have any darker ones

That looks fantastic! Massive improvement over the stock.

If you want to add some substance to the sweat I came up with a technique I used on a 1/4 scale resin kit that worked really nicely for making rivulets of water to emulate being in the rain, which is a similar look.

It's done by flicking UV resin at it with a toothbrush, or similar. Very messy, but the effect works.
You then run larger drops of resin in a downward path with the toothpick or shape them how they'd naturally run, before curing it under a UV led light. It'll set within a minute or so and look like the above permanently.

Small amounts of this technique in selected spots of your Rambo would look pretty righteous, I reckon.
It's also easy to practice on something else before risking your Rambo to get confident with the method.

Cool, i actually used Vallejo Still Water after seeing someone else use it on their Asmus Ash Williams figure

I own the Hot Toys version and was trying to ignore this because of all the other figures I wanted. Finally purchase this tonight. Hope First Blood figure comes out nice as well.
