I tried with the first three, I really did. But using the same impossible control style as the originals is just a **** move.
Such a wasted opportunity imo. Giving the original games a full remake would've been much better.
How was AoD? I'm thinking it couldn't have been as bad, since the PS2 already had the two joysticks?

AoD is a complete mess. Lara can barely be controlled i gave up after a few hours. Its a weird game. Great atmosphere with meh gameplay. Hope they remake it ibstead of remaster because it has serious potential to be a good game.

Use modern controls they released three patches so it works pretty smoothly. AOD is my favorite, best Lara, story and music for me. Very excited for the remaster!!!

Wild that we are getting more of these, i'm so happy.
AOD has the guy who created the AOD Restoration Project working on it, which means we will getting some much needed game mechanics smoothed out. Hopefully even more due to Aspyr being involved too.
Game preservation is important and i'm happy they are giving these games new life.

First game mustve sold well. I am definitely the most curious about AoD. It’s gonna need a lot of polish.
Tried it again and yup, **** that. The freaking so-called "modern controls" are still an unfinished mess that they never even bothered to implement properly.
Like the jump and grab feature literally doesn't work right with modern controls. And I'm not about to play these games with the original controls either. TR:Revelations still gives me controller PTSD. lol
So yeah, **** the controls and the remasters! Not paying for those messy, lazy ass ports again. No game is worth playing for the amount of headaches, frustration and swearing those controls bring with them. I'm getting too old for this ****.

Personally I don’t have any problems with the modern controls on PS5, at first it had camera glitches but patches fixed that. Tank controls are harder with a controller imo. I actually haven't tried with a keyboard and mouse. So I might do that yet. I'll give it one more shot...eventually. lol

Looks great. Im assuming thr ponytail and hair is hard plastic? Ive had a figure with a similar hairstyle and I lost count of how many times I had to glue that damn ponytail. I strongly recommend permanently putting her on a stand. You do not want to take the risk of having her topple over.
If anyone's been wondering, I am still working on those boots I posted awhile back. I've been pretty busy with work lately, but I'm hoping to make some more of these soon.
Currently only have 3 pairs that I've been paint testing. I'm thinking of making different color types (dark, original, dusty, maybe even muddy?).
Here's what I've got so far:
The downside is because these are resin printed, the back loses some detail (like stitching) due to the supports. Nothing I can currently do about that unfortunately.
Also found out that Jiaou Doll bodies have a slightly smaller ball joint that TBL bodies. I'll try to make them both, but I feel like most collectors are just using the stock body on the latest SW Lara for now, so I'll get to the TBL versions whenever I can get around to it.

The ponytail is actually printed with flex resin, it bends a little bit. I’ll be putting her on a stand though! Definitely don’t want her falling over haha.
