Sideshow really has some bad sculpted hair pics (color looks super off). It doesn't look too bad at all compared to the Artisan based on reviews. As soon as I realized this, it was too late. It's on Waitlist everywhere I look.
I've never owned a Ledger Joker as my primary focus is Star Wars. I recently did some changes to my media room where I'm doing a floating shelf in front of 11x17 movie posters and I decided to get this figure as a stand-alone in front of TDK poster. Pre-ordered two days ago based on the pics here and really glad I did. Sculpted is fine with me and as someone who isn't deep into the details of the suit, etc. this will be a great representation of that iconic character and movie for me.

Heh! Not only that, but you could always get a custom/aftermarket rooted head sculpt. Well done on that pre-order. Yeah, this would've been my first DC figure. My primary focus is a niche (Terminator, Robocop). Although I got a waitlist converted for DX28 Darth Vader which I love!

The Joker GIF

Is that sculpted or rooted? Likeness is terrible.

This had kind of fallen off my radar, honestly, as all Hot Toys do in that interminable gap between announcement and release, but I'm back to being very excited to get this in-hand. I held off on picking up a DX11 for so long in anticipation of a new Joker. It's time to finally bring him home.

Managed to land a pre-order from my local toys/collectibles shop's website. Just have to call later to confirm. I actually saved $20 compared to sideshow and no shipping cost.

The FOMO is real. 4,000 Artisan pieces, what are my chances of a waitlist converting? I waitlisted Sept of last year. Either way, this piece even if the hair is sculpted is a must.

Need to find a nice 1/6 scale aluminum foldable chair. I want to pose him as if he was clapping like that one scene when he's in jail!

Has inart actually said they were considering a 2.0 joker?
I haven't heard anything but rumors from ppl on here and facebook .
Just picked up the sculpted IA version last month for $250 so I suppose this new HT version helped me get a decent deal .
The new HT version is nice but not worth their asking price for me but congrats to all that acquired one and love it .

$250 even for a sculpted InArt Joker is a banger of a deal imo. Great score there.

~ $400 seems to be the new norm for these figures that are clearly a notch above the rest.

Sucks.

In 3 to 6 yrs, (guesstimate)

half a grand will be "average" for a 1/6 HT.

Nah. Folks swear they'd pay hundreds for this, I have my doubts. This thing would sit. A custom nurse outfit destroys this. HT knew it. There's nothing stopping folks from recreating Nurse Joker. Super simple.

It was leaked here and I asked them about it.

Rather than saying nothing or questioning, they asked ‘where had I heard this information?’

Additionally I commented on a recent Instagram post ‘excited for the 2.0’ and they liked it.

So all but confirmed I would say.

We see it for Hot Toys figures on display with the little note saying pending license approval at conventions. I just imagine they would have had to go through some approval process to even get it that far but maybe not? Hell they even took the time to do an alternate sculpt with the mask. Deckard was a little more clear cut since their sign said it wasn't anything they're actually making. Nurse Joker just had TBD.
