That Inart's hair has dried out in the video, it needs some figure maintenance to add product and work the hair, it looks like Joker asked to make it "poofy on top".
I still think the Hot Toy's topcoat looks like a bath robe, tailored shoulder shapes are just non-existent it appears, lapels are really oversized and too vibrant purple color. Need it in hand to confirm, if it just needs futzed better for the fit.

Doesn't look like anyone ever 'thinned' out the InArt hair. I always wondered how it would look with less bulk. When you take the back off to move the eyes, the profile instantly looks better without the thick mullet in back.
The hair on HT looks better right out of the box.
After looking at so many custom heads in the last 2 years since InArt came out, I see the flaws in both InArt and HT, honestly.

It’s this sort of looking down on, elitist type attitude from some “custom bros” that give the custom community as a whole a bad rap

In truth, they're both great figures, and they each have their shortcomings.
But if we're going to wage WAR over minutia, then why settle for either option?
And therein lies the point of my post.
It's all so amusing (and it should be for everybody).
I wouldn't be so silly to belittle someone, or assert a kind of dominance (over a doll no less).
Although a lot of us are passionate about the details (clearly), and admittedly, that may come with a certain pride.
Maybe a part of me looks at the world in disgust, wherein an artist or a musician or what-have-you has to scrounge for scraps, when the corporate world that exploits that talent continues to thrive.
Maybe it pains me to see quality (across the board) valued less in favor of schlock.
And maybe that's enough for somebody to call me an elitist, to which I say..

I’m in this hobby to get things as accurate as I possibly can, a form of art. If that is not possible, or things need more work than I care to devote, I don’t buy the figure. Hence the small collection.
I don’t like stock figures, I don’t want everything sold in a neat box. For example, the T-1000 police uniform not having a custom offering is putting me off from the purchase, the clothing is bad and if I can’t upgrade it then I don’t want it. Thankfully the T-800 offers genuine leather that looks promising. If I didn’t have the Yunsil ‘89 Joker suit coming, I would have sold the DX08 and never looked back.

Understood. And like I said in a follow up post, I took your post too literally and/or seriously. The joke went over my head
I guess what grinds my gears a bit is when it appears that one group is looking down on another for whatever they collect. It shouldn’t be that way in my opinion. We’re a niche group as it and there’s room for all types.

Some ppl understandably want the best of the best no matter the cost and no matter if it’s custom or official. I know I’ve used this example before, but my brother is one who does appreciate the art of customs; however, he will never own them b/c he simply does not collect anything that isn’t officially licensed. So, it doesn’t matter to him if X headsculpt by Y artist is better than an official offering b/c when it comes to what to actually purchase, custom stuff isn’t even in the conversation.Anyway, apologies for reading too much into your post.
That’s fair. We all have different reasons for collecting and all are valid.
