It’s disheartening to hear about the possibility of a competitor-organized campaign, which I’m inclined to agree with, and I can completely understand how frustrating that must be.
As for my own anxiousness, it’s more about the general tone of some discussions here rather than any lack of confidence in your team. Your proactive approach to addressing concerns definitely helps put my mind at ease. I’m still very excited about my car and confident the final product will be well worth the wait—especially after seeing all the great pics from other happy owners online.
Thankfully, I still have some time before I finish paying it off, which gives me plenty of time to come up with an excuse to tell my wife why we now have two Batmobiles—one of which is even bigger than the Hot Toys version I currently own!
Yes, it can be frustrating and feel incredibly unfair, especially since I live and breathe this stuff and I’m usually working on this seven days a week but most of the time I can just laugh about it because the attempts are so over the top and obvious.
Yesterday, I got sent a link from a YouTuber claiming I had 98% quality control issues, and telling people the only difference between this version and the hot toys version was the spinning turbine and that it was priced at $2000.
Meanwhile, the number of cancellations are still single digits from a total of 2500 and the waitlist is still over 500, so it seems the fast majority are not buying into this rubbish at all
