It’s disheartening to hear about the possibility of a competitor-organized campaign, which I’m inclined to agree with, and I can completely understand how frustrating that must be.

As for my own anxiousness, it’s more about the general tone of some discussions here rather than any lack of confidence in your team. Your proactive approach to addressing concerns definitely helps put my mind at ease. I’m still very excited about my car and confident the final product will be well worth the wait—especially after seeing all the great pics from other happy owners online.

Thankfully, I still have some time before I finish paying it off, which gives me plenty of time to come up with an excuse to tell my wife why we now have two Batmobiles—one of which is even bigger than the Hot Toys version I currently own! 😊

Yes, it can be frustrating and feel incredibly unfair, especially since I live and breathe this stuff and I’m usually working on this seven days a week but most of the time I can just laugh about it because the attempts are so over the top and obvious.
Yesterday, I got sent a link from a YouTuber claiming I had 98% quality control issues, and telling people the only difference between this version and the hot toys version was the spinning turbine and that it was priced at $2000. 😂
Meanwhile, the number of cancellations are still single digits from a total of 2500 and the waitlist is still over 500, so it seems the fast majority are not buying into this rubbish at all

I've been contacted by several people who told me that this is actually part of a campaign organised by a competitor. I didn't believe it at first but I am beginning to wonder. Since there is nothing to gain from this behaviour except to increase traffic and clicks and to put me in a bad light.
Your theory is incredible but wouldn't even surprise me in this world of hyper competition.
Mr Mom's total change between the video of the comparison between the HT and the Jazzinc where he was rather very positive about the Jazzinc and the video of his second car where he leads a vendetta against Joost has always intrigued me.
I haven't received mine yet but when I see all the unboxing videos, the car is so securely attached and well protected that I still don't understand how he could have received such a damaged car...
Was Mr Mom (like others) "approached" by a competitor between these two videos...? The question deserves to be asked.

Not sure I subscribe to the competitor interference theory, to be honest - I just think this is a pile-on by some rather nasty internet trolls, who've seen a couple of issues with a model they can't afford or that they missed out on, and are taking the opportunity to yell at the clouds. Classic Keyboard Warriors, safely anonymous and able to claim they're model too had dust and problems...
In the case of Mommy's Boy (or whatever he's called) it's both clickbait and classic signs of buyer remorse (especially as he can't recoup his costs by selling the defaced rejected model).

I personally feel let down by Jazzinc. The fact that they said the can't fix the dents is a problem for me. My panels won't sit flush, that bothers me more that the dust. I feel like I got sold a false goods, but sometimes you have to learn the hardest lessons in life. Will be selling this car to try and get some of my money back.

Not going to lie, it's kind of odd that you just joined yesterday and this is your very first post. Almost as if someone sent you here.

If collectors are receiving their JazzInc 89 Batmobiles with certain issues, they shouldn't blame Joost for them, as i'm sure he and everyone at JazzInc do their very best to ensure that the Batmobiles arrive as safely to their destination as possible, before shipping them out to customers, as there can be other factors like=
A.Careless postal workers who don't care about how they handle parcels, or where they leave them [ like with Mr Mom, who had water seep through the packaging, because the postal worker left it in the pouring rain, and not under proper shelter. ]
B.While in transit, there may be another heavy box sitting on top of the one you're having shipped, which could cause damage to the item,
C.High temperatures, which can cause collectable items to ''warp'' out of shape, which some collectors have had issues with other pieces [ like the Prime 1 Studios 1/3 Jungle Hunter Predator, and the PCS Killer Instinct 1/4 Fulgore statue, which made it difficult for collectors to sit on the base, due to the legs ''warping'' out of shape. ]

The fact that you are calling out anyone who is not in agreement with you a part of a brand "cult" is not working in your favor.

It's how you blatenly did the test sample that put you on front street for all the collecting community to see.

You may have gained clicks, views and subs from that. But it cost you a lot as well.
👍
1. The fat ***** reviewed a test sample when told not to - a test sample is fk'n test sample.
2. Instead of contacting the company when there are issues like a normal person, he criticises other YTer's use of content and superchat for monetary gain when he's the one putting out a controversial vid trying to get clicks and views.
You are aware...4 reviews were out prior to mine? And hey im working on my weight lol

The secret is out...Howard Chan reached out to me and asked if I would discredit a competitor in exchange for all the Hot Toys I want. This is exactly the mentality I speak about where Joost can create a story and people will believe it as if I was contacted by someone that's really funny. I would love to know who the people where that reached out to Joost with this information lol And if Howard is seeing this I'm waiting for my free Hot Toys lol

I'm a statue and prop collector, so I'm not familiar with the 1/6 community. I've got to say, I thought statue collectors were petty.

I'm really blown away by the negativity towards Jazzinc. I know people with their products and they're very happy.

I watched a video from a guy called Danoby2, and he called Jazzinc a "trash company who makes garbage products". To me, someone who says something like that has lost all objectivity, and can't be taken seriously. He clearly has a vendetta.

Watching Mr.Mom's videos, I'm suspicious of what's going on there. It looks like he's trying to catch some algorithmic thing there. His first video seemed quite positive about JazzInc, but then did a 180.

The 89 Batmobile is a fire starter IP, and is being weaponized by both the detractors and supporters of Jazzinc. To me, it's so blatantly obvious that the JazzInc is the better product and should be. The Hot Toys version came out years ago. It wasn't even in the correct scale.

Man, your not the brightest tool in the shed. You started this here.

First, let me start with that I have no stake in this game. I don't own any of JazzInc's products. But I've been here since he started out and have much respect for the guy accomplishing what most would only dream of.

You came here crying on an established board with many members who have been here for years and years following joost since day one. Meanwhile, you have a whopping 6 posts under your belt. Why are you here? You don't seem to be an actual member or participant in this community of collectors. It certainly seems like your trying to rally the troops to your side to start a smear campaign against JazzInc. Instead of gaining support, your making yourself look small and petty and sad. Instead of gaining YouTube viewers here, you'll more likely get non followers and viewers just watching your vids to give them a thumbs down.

Your problems need to stay between you and JazzInc. Either privately or on your YouTube channel. Your not gonna gain much traction or support here, except for a few who have already been also constantly complaining about being unhappy, yet have the option to cancel.

I'm surprised no Mods have either warned you yet or cleaned out this thread. It seems as though your just trying to find another public place to air your grievances about your expensive toy and to have proof your being wronged. Joost isn't buying and neither are most on here. I only come in this thread to look at the pictures of a product I'll never own. And be happy for those that do. Not to be entertained by the drama.

I don't personally know you or Joost. But I do know I am putting you on ignore so I no longer have to read your rants. Your welcome to reply to this post, but it will fall on deaf ears. I don't care. I'm posting cause I'm tired of your petty whining. Take your refund from JazzInc and move on. Let it be his problem and nightmare when everyone starts asking for refunds cause his product is :poop: .

I think Danoby is also the *hole who made racist remarks towards Kit because he didn't understand an NRD meant you don't get your deposit back. Can't say I like watching any of the big names in the 1/6 collection game.

But yeah I don't buy these rumors of a competitor sending out ninjas to generate bad PR on fellow competitors. Are the poor Inart QC issues just overblown too and the Aragorn, Superman, and Batman threads with legit complaints should be brushed off as fake? Even stuff like a small black paint dot on a nose is irksome for a figure at these prices. Hot Toys also gets a fair share of criticism and hate across the board depending on the figure. The thing about people who have a bad experience with something vs people who have a good experience; the bad experience people will always be much more vocal.

I never posted my content here to try and "win" points witch anyone (which that statement will sound like a victim comment). Especially when I can see how nuts some are to actually takes Joosts word that he thinks a competitor reached out for others to talk bad? Who would have reached out Hot Toys? Im pretty sure Jazzinc isnt on the radar at this point.

Exactly, the point is that items are being delivered below standard. It doesn’t matter that replacements are an option. Jazzinc cannot sustain replacing every other car (not saying that’s what he’s having to do, either) but if he gets better factory standards and proper eyes on every order, his reputation for QC would improve. Just because InArt will replace your order doesn’t mean you want to take the gamble and time investment of getting your hand on a pristine copy. Who cares about this Mr Mom guy specifically, that is not the point here, making it about him is absurd. It’s solely about QC.

Now all of a sudden there’s some espionage undercutting going on here.
I take it someone from the FB group came up with that on their lunch break?

Seriously don't know why I keep coming back into this thread, I should already know what to expect... Definitely a lot of wasted energy dedicated to discussing this singular product.

I will say this about the Jazzinc Batmobile, it is a good product, regardless of the issues. Nothing is ever 100% perfect in any aspect of production, but if you do have an egregious issue with it, this company will try to resolve it. No point in the tactless internet decorum and continual ranting. Time to move the conversation along or shut this section down entirely.

Inart's QC issues are my biggest problem with them. I have only had one instance where I had to reach out to Kit for replacement, but saw recently that someone got a Superman sculpt with missing veins on one half of the heat vision sculpt. A problem like that is unacceptable regardless of the company.

I think Mr. Mom Collectibles is isolated in his issues, in that he is playing up his outrage for personal gain. Others will definitely have QC problems sure, as nothing ever ships with 100% success rate in terms of the QC, but many have received the car and posted about how happy they are with it.

This thread should definitely be about the car and not the YT'er, but it's hard when he comes to the thread and tries to make this issue with Joost and JazzInc a public debate.

@Mr.momcollectibles If you don't want people talking to you about this and forming opinions about you then you should take this conversation off of a public forum and talk to Joost directly. Coming on here to argue with him instead of talking amongst yourselves is exactly why people are distrusting of your intentions.

Currently awaiting the upcoming thread lock as many other DC threads have had lmao.
