Does anyone know if the original remake outfit works with the 1st class body? I was thinking of swapping out the clothes because my original remake torso got damaged after he took a fall off a shelf.

It doesn't seem like removing and dressing the figure will be too difficult since the arms come off the figure, just wasn't sure if the proportions are different.

I also prefer the navy over the black and swapped it over to the 1st class body.

Didn't need glue for the harness but had to disassembled the torso. Did use glue for the bandage thing on the arm tho.

Proportions are the same, also the new body has better articulation in the shoulder and neck.

My man, this was the answer I was looking for, that looks incredible. Thank you!

Thanks :) also I followed a guide from this thread for disassembling the torsos. It had some photos to refer to which was helpful.

It's not difficult, but just note the 1st class requires removing some screws (unlike the ball jointed remake body) so don't try to pull it apart!

Price isn't that much different either, just 2000 yen more than the rebirth figures. $138 USD.... and these tend to drop in price after release. It's literally just a rebranding with a slight price bump, as usual.

They kind of screwed themselves by making the recent Cloud/Aerith/Yuffie/Elena rebirth under PAK, and not waiting to give them Shin treatment. Probably by part 3 we'll get shin versions of everyone.

Well, in Europe the price went up to 200EUR, from the previous 180 from the V2/V3 versions of Cloud/Aerith/Yuffie....To think the line started 5 years ago asking for less than what they charge for a Bring Arts now....

And we can for 100% sure expect Shin versions of Cloud V4, Aerith and Yuffie V3 for the final game of the trilogy.

More like they screwed the consumers, as for super people already pre-ordered them, and at least for the main cast for sure there will be a shin version down the line (Elena, Rufus and the Turks, less confident this may happen)

Where are you all planning to get Vincent from?
I used to always get them from Amazon Japan, as the price (tax included) was usually good. But since the massive spike in shipping costs post-pandemic, not sure.

I think price will be the same everywhere if the package is taxed. Only without taxes the savings are more substantial.

I use Nin Nin for PAK stuff tbh, points and warehouse option

I pre-ordered her from GD with points, so the deposit only cost me $3. Lol
So not a big deal to me. And I don't really use Gundamit much to begin, so I don't really care about the points either. Though it is a bit odd that GD would have it up for PO if it's never officially been announced.
I suppose we do know that GT is working on it however.
Figured I might as well put in an order so I don't miss out on it again like I did with Tifa. Lo
It's important to remember that even though there aren't official announcements to the public, that manufacturers do actually typically give a list with expected products and dates to sellers way before we ever receive news of it. I would still be wary about any future pre-orders of course. But sellers aren't typically allowed to make those announcements before the company themselves. It's clear that gametoys has a lot of prototypes as they've teased in photos this year such as AC Tifa, AC Sephiroth, Aerith (with her dress design being revealed by the owner of GT), and even a dress Cloud with a prototype headsculpt. They're just a smaller company compared to corporate overlords that can mass produce within a few months. So while we may have prototypes, it could also be months to years before those prototypes get picked up for an actual product. Just something to think about. Buying unlicensed figures can be tricky and sometimes risky since there is no official website. But if you're ever unsure of something you see, the best idea is to email customer support regarding a pre-order product you're interested in.

Anybody done business with Hobby Genki lately? My first order with them went fine, but my second order with a few of the recently released FF7 Bring Arts has been sitting in the 'private warehouse' for almost a month now. I've followed their procedure and asked them to prepare my shipment, but they responded with "Our staff is in training, we will prepare your package as soon as we can". I sent them another email 4 days ago, and they haven't responded.

I'd cancel and/or file a chargeback, but it looks like Barret, Sephiroth, and Red XIII have all sold out everywhere else.

Also have been waiting for a couple releases from November from them. Still no reply to any of my messages to ship my warehouse orders.
I've been ordering from them from a few years now and this is the slowest they've been, it's frustrating. Even more so when you see them posting on social media about newer releases and even streaming on twitch while they happily ignore your messages. Will be avoiding them from now on and just order on amiami as usual I guess.

same here. some 45 days in waiting for my private warehouse invoice. ordered off their black friday sale & it shipped within a week, not sure what the holdup is in regards to warehouse orders

I've never ordered from Hobby Genki but I have an order with AmiAmi for November that's still not sent. I'm thinking it might be the Christmas rush and that's why they're late...maybe?

Thanks for the feedback. Sounds like we're all in the same boat.

This happened to me a 5 months ago. Got the same “we’re training” message. Eventually everything did ship out but it took a decent time. I don’t know what’s been happening this year, everything used to ship out quickly before
