Legolas wasn’t one I was willing to buy at $550+, but Galadriel definitely is. DOPO without a shred of doubt.
It helps that the Asmus one is so off I don’t even take it out of the box.

I preordered Legolas.. after much consideration. Still hoping they will include the Mirkwood bow.
And yes.. will definitely hit the instant preorder button on Galadriel and Arwen if the likeness is InArt standard or above.
The likeness of asmus Galadriel is not that bad, actually. But it's under-scaled and does not include the diadem.
While their Arwen's likeness is.. bad on both versions.

I keep it real simple. Even if I wasn’t totally building a Fellowship, I’d still get rid of the Asmus schlock to upgrade to INART’s offerings.

Asmus Galadriel likeness isn’t bad, yet could be better. The skin tone of the face not matching the neck and hands is bad, missing her crown is worse. Plus scaling issues as you said, and the hair needed some help.
The figure had potential but it’s an eyesore when the two InArt figures are on display. Not every Asmus figure is that bad, but some just don’t belong out there anymore.

Yep, that's what I did.. Sold em all, except for Galadriel.
I will wait till InArt made her, and then will say buhbye to the asmus one.

Galadriel was quite okay back then, but now that InArt is in the house.. well..
You kids are silly. Why in the wide wide world of sports would you be dumb enough to sell off your Asmus figures BEFORE even knowing for sure they’re going to do the figures you’re all talking about…? There has been no official announcement or even official POs for Galadriel and Arwen, let alone the Hobbits, Gimli, Boromir, etc. I wouldn’t even consider selling figures until the POs went up and I had the new figure in hand.

As for Arwen.. I would rather not have the asmus versions because after I got them in hand, I don't think the figures looks like her at all.
Right now I'm happy with the JND one. I know it's 1:3, but at least it's Liv.
And I have faith in art.. of InArt.
HyperDrive now works for InArt so he'll make sure Arwen is being made.
Oh I forgot that I have one more asmus LOTR figure.. Mouth of Sauron! I think that one is nice.
