Awesome figure 👍🏼👍🏼 I’ve been enjoying mine as well 🙂
Yeah I'm glad I got him!

whats the spike on the elbow for. gonna treat the pleathers?
I don't know what the spike is for (he never seems to make use of it in-game) but it took me less than two days to snap it off o_O Thankfully a little dab of E6000 has been holding up.

If by 'treat the pleathers' you mean be intentionally rough as hell with them so they look more like the game then yes :ROFLMAO: They're far too clean, tight and straight out of the box, I've been twisting and stretching them to try and keep them looking wrinkled in photos.

Here's a second batch!

Risk I was willing to take; they looked ridiculous out of the box, like Johnny sent them to the dry cleaners and they shrunk in the wash. A guy should honestly take a sponge and some paint to them and add some discoloration.

Knowing Johnny, it's probably a bottle cap or cork opener. He can get to his tequila faster that way. lol

That's actually a good idea, I have a spare pair lying around so I think I'll try that.

Let me know how it works out!

I initially thought perhaps his elbow was a cigar cutter but he smokes cigarettes.

I have the PureArts Johnny statue. The only thing that kept me from getting this is I was never crazy about the sculpt, but I still keep looking at it and considering. If the new John Wick sculpt was neckless, it would be perfect for this.

I was pretty determined to make it work at one point. lol
My plan was on getting the Wick sculpt by RCN, so I got one or two Hot Toys bodies and thought, since they were made by the same company, a lower torso and arm swap should be easy enough to do. Nope, sure wasn't. Nothing fit and I couldn't figure how to remove the silver left arm - no screws are visible anywhere. And if you look at the full neck HT bodies, they aren't really designed for characters wearing tank tops either. It looks pretty ugly, the joint where the neck connects to the body was designed to be covered up.
I'm starting to think HT might have designed a partial custom body for this guy.

That's a shame but predictable. I think the only way to make the new John Wick sculpt work with Johnny's body, would be to cut off the neck and customize the head to fit the neck.

I hadn't thought of that, but it could definitely work. Would just take someone brave enough to dremel/cut up a brand new Wick Hot Toys sculpt.
Cutting it without peeling the paint around the neck would be tricky though.
Any volunteers? lol

I would definitely be a big risk but it's achievable. Someone has done it before with the very first John Wick sculpt.

The thing is this new John Wick sculpt has an entirely different structure that would be harder to adapt to a neck peg. Ideally you'd just be able to replace the torso and try to cover the gap with the vest as best as you can but you tried and it isn't possible.

i have cut off necks on the vts mad max to fit a necked body. key is cut not exactly where you want but lower and wrap tapes to prevent accidental scratches or dropping the head.

i used hobby knife no dremels and do a trace before cutting.

once done just sand the neck down to where you want. theres wide variety of bodies with different width so you need to measure the neck diameter against a potential body.

once done glue in some of those rubber neck adapters again they sell few size of rubber rings.

if the neck color doesnt fully match just simply repaint it or use some weathering powder and seal it off.
