I'm thinking about canceling my artisan order. Contact me if you're still interested.
I did speak with @Hologram AI about it. Although it's too soon, and this is due for late next year I believe? I don't know what he'll choose to do between now and then (keep, cancel, or sell).

My intention is dead set on getting one (when the time comes). Most likely the artisan.

Low stock for sculpted.
I still don’t mind canceling the Artisan.

This pales in comparison to Inarts now released version. Unbiased opinion,

The rooted hair isn’t great and not slicked back. Now their diorama doesn’t look as good as Inarts, the Joker should sit behind a window not the Live with Murray signage.

Happy for those who prefer HT’s version but personally, it’s hard to top Inart’s offering.

Holy smokes, that took a dive!
Must be getting bashed around from all the shows it’s been to.

Wow, the hair looks bad. Everything else looks good imo though. Sculpted hair is the way to go with this figure.

I ended up ordering the sculpted version. I’ll just sell off or cancel my artisan order.. 🙁

Yea, it’s the same thing that’s happened with all their rooted figures after going from show to show. Happened with WB100 Wonder Woman, Anakin and TDK Joker. Ppl reacted this way as well.

Posting that photo is just to sway in their favor. The final product will be what to really make comparisons too as always.

Sounds like a cope.

One could reach the same assumption about you, spending nearly 3x the amount on what might be an inferior figure. But I'm a little less childish. I understand that people have different preferences.

In your case, your preference is entirely partial to Inart. I noticed your condescending attitude on numerous occasion to anybody with anything unfavorable to say about them.

It's really annoying.

I own 4 of their figures, with 2 on the way. I have their deluxe rooted Ledger, which is less than mediocre, and 2 Batman figures (I like) that require a considerable amount of work to get them looking their best.

You're not part of an exclusive club. Nothing about this doll sets you apart from the rest. It's not as premium as you think. It's available to order, and it falls within the price bracket of what many seasoned collectors spend on the hobby.

You can do the same "hiding" with InArt and still come out ahead of HTs offering

You don't have to hide the tailoring on Inart's figure. That's a definite advantage over Hot Toys. It's just that you can if you need to.

I mentioned I'm going for the chair display, so ultimately I put more stock into the sculpt, chair, and diorama.

I would think it's fair to say they're (at least) comparable from looking at these pictures, no?

I’ve had that same thought verbatim this morning as I was swiping through girls, good ones are all on Holiday break. :gah:

I'm undecided on the sculpts. They both look good or worse in all the different pictures. But they're both great when looking their best.

I think the proto HT sculpt favors Phoenix more.
