Same. I love all of them but 4 is my favorite too. Really wish they would make another one but they seem to have moved on.

The 2nd HS on my Kai/Eleven Nate is really better too


But unfortunatly all is not 100% Perfect for me.
My main problem is with the base which is not really straight, well some elements are not placed to the ground so if you press the base it moves slightly.
Is it normal?


And I'm really struggling pushing the mast with the flag into the pegs, on the photos it's set but it doesn't hold so much it's annoying.
I don't want to force it because I'm afraid of damaging something.

I don't know if this has anything to do with it, but I noticed that the piece of plastic where the pegs are is not stuck 100% straight on my base, I don't know if that's what can prevent my mast to plug well?


The Uncharted 4 logo is very difficult to plug too, i didn't succeed...

Just got mine as well, what a beautiful figure! You can tell the LimToys guys really love the series with how much attention they paid creating this one!




Also just wanted to say I appreciated how fun they made the packaging. Just look at this cool little moire animation they did with the outside sleeve!

The more photos I see of this figure, I have to say, what a fantastic production piece. Mine is a few days out from delivery, maybe by Wednesday. I have very clear memories of my first exposure to Uncharted on a hungover New Years Day many years ago, no less.

Same problems for me. I think the outside elements are supposed to look like that?

The flagpole/nameplate can be inserted much easier if you heat them up with hairdryer/ boiling water. The flagpole still feels a little loose on mine but it stays in place well enough after.

I agree. Many folks have turned 1/6 figures into 1/6 statues with minor articulation (mostly in the custom world) for the sake of realism at the cost of articulation. Seamless heads, necks and chests are a trend right now that I truly dislike. The point of these figures is to be able to pose them. But, I guess some folks really want high end 1/6 statues (I assume for space reason) instead of getting the larger format statues. Since no company is really making any (aside from a few from Queen), they take to what's currently available to turn into statues basically. The ironic thing is, when you think about the cost some incur in the pursuit of these 1/6 statues, they more than likely could've bought a larger statue. But, the heart wants what the heart wants I guess

But, b/c of the realism that comes from those customs, it appears to give others (collectors and companies alike) the idea that this is the way forward. Ppl wanted magnetic bases b/c the crotch grabber breaks the illusion of realism, so InArt got rid of them and replaced with magnets. That didn't turn out too well, so now they're back to crotch grabbers and getting rid of magnets in the wrists/hands.

Thankfully you guys included a standard arm with standard wrist joint, so we have the choice. I have a feeling that InArt won't be including that choice with their Rick Grimes and Daryl Dixon figures that will force the figures into certain poses, which will be very annoying if true.

@R_R_X I just received mine. It looks amazing except for one major issue. The magnet in the arm is backwards. Any time I try to attach any of the three arms they fly off. So it isn't the forearms, but the upper arm. Is there a way for me to flip the magnet around myself or do I have to ship the arm back?

I got Arthur without any issues and know you guys do amazing work. This is just unfortunately a pretty major miss during assembly. Luck of the draw I suppose.

Sorry about it, I'm surprised the factory even managed to attach the arm if the magnet is inverted, anything with magnets in incorrect directions is usually pretty easy to catch, labelled as defective and sent back but someone at the factory missed this one.

Fortunately the design of the joint should allow you to easily fix this without needing to take the piece out of the arm. First, use a hair drier to loosen the glue that is holding the magnet in place. Then you can use a pair of tweezers or some type of small object to remove the magnet by accessing the gap above it. Since it's a tight fit you may need to use some force but heating it up should help. Once the magnet is out you should apply some glue in the gap and insert the magnet back in the correct direction.

If you don't want to do that you can contact Kit and a replacement part will be sorted. I also urge anyone who encounters an issue with their figure to contact Kit, since he is a direct line of customer service, I may not always be able to read the posts on here.

I kinda agree that nowadays the seamless parts is getting out of hand due to the fact you sacrifice articulation. I actually like it when companies find creative ways to make something.

Space is definitely the biggest factor. Many want the highest of quality, in a smaller form factor. I'd love to get JND's Superman but I just don't have the proper space for it, let alone if I was going after multiple statues. I feel like you need to have a dedicated museum room just to display 5-10 statues properly. 1/6 figures on the other hand just requires you to have 2-4 detolfs to display 20 figures neatly.

I do agree on the articulation though. That's partly why I've turned to a few 1/12 scale figures over the years. No limitation on articulation and no fear of outfits being ruined.

That worked! Thanks for your reply and your amazing work. John is my Holy Grail, so I can't wait for what's next.

I still think the hair is the weakest part of the figure and holds it back, especially when you see it from a lower angle. That fringe is just odd looking to me. P

That’s been my only real gripe with pretty much every Lim figure, the hair never looks great. Same with Arthur and John figures.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen a figure get released, where chrisstbh doesn’t have a complaint about it.

Yea, I definitely get that. It's a balancing act for sure deciding which characters will get a nice statue and which will be a figure only. I'm already pretty near at capacity due to my 1/3 scale statues. They're just too good and impressive to not want more. Definitely have to choose the favorites though. I'd love to have a space even half the size of what Batman Statue Collector has in order to display everything all at once and so cleanly.

We are lucky enough that Nate has that watch because it can hide the joint without limiting any articulation and make it so only the one arm needs to be seamless, but we still include a right arm with a wrist joint as well because there's only so much you can do with an arm stuck in one position.

The obsession with seamless/realistic figures gets even trickier with characters with exposed knees, elbows or chest. Collectors think medical grade silicone is perfect for these, because after all many statues have used it and they're lasting, but they fail to realize those statues are stuck in a certain pose, the silicone isn't being stressed from it's original mold shape. With a figure, any kind of articulation that changes the original mold shape will inevitably stress the silicone and make it so it will eventually crack. It doesn't even matter if it's in a harmless museum pose, if the body is not posed exactly like how it got out of the mold, the silicone will be under constant stress.

That was a bit long haha but I just had to point that out, it's a bit contradictory to want real leather and other genuine materials for figure clothes but many are willing to settle for silicone bodies and arms with no articulation for the sake of realism.

Seamless looks good, but I know when I pre-order any seamless figure that my options for posing will be limited due to my paranoia that the elbows or shoulders will split.

I don't mind exposed joints because they are essentially action figures rather than statues. Hot Toys isn't giving you a choice now so if you want certain characters you'll have to suffer the limitations or the consequences.

I currently have on pre-order Ahsoka the White, Padawan Ahsoka, X-23, Rain Carradine, Jinx and Vi. Some, if not all of them, have both seamless shoulders and elbows.

This is about as much as I'd dare pose them...




They become action figures in name only, or semi-articlated statues.

At least One Toys' Jinx has a regular body with exposed joints.


Meanwhile, my Nate is out for delivery today.

i'm abit OCD when it comes to belt length. I felt the belt excess is abit too short. anybody agrees?
