Either LUA Lara or new game(s) cause I’m tired of this version:Lim should make Lara from the next game. She’s realistic and wears modernized classic outfit. Iron Studios and everyone’s mom are doing statues, so that the next official look.
And finish their Geralt project even if he’s in his Hearts of Stone white shirt still gonna eat him up
Maybe a Lim Lara?
I agree. Lim Toys definitely needs to make a Lara Croft next. In the interim, I’ll display Nate with the Hot Toys old man Indy (once he is released).

I'd lean more towards a Classic version as well, but we've also never really gotten a good Survivor version either.Either LUA Lara or new game(s) cause I’m tired of this version:

You can built your ultimate survival Lara’s using any of those Lara’s. Lol just how we keep getting the same RE figures over and over(looking at you Ada) Time for something new.I'd lean more towards a Classic version as well, but we've also never really gotten a good Survivor version either.
I guess two or maybe even 8 different Lara's it is then! Plus Nate from U1, U2 and U3. And maybe a whole Cyberpunk and Resident Evil line too.
It's not too much to ask for, is it??
Is that just the base U3 Sideshow Nathan? Does the head sculpt fit well without any modding?
Oh man how I would love for seamless arms/chests to be a viable long-term option... I guess we're just not there yet. I don't know if we ever will be. It's honestly why I mainly collect Transformers these days like the Threezero figures. Great accuracy and likeness w/o having to worry about exposed joints. There will always be slight variations but the factory does a good job at making all production copies as consistent as possible, it's quite the feat considering all the steps the painting goes through, it's a combined effort of hand painting, spray painting and machine printing for the smaller details.
I think in the pursuit of realism collectors have forgotten that these are meant to be figures. We are lucky enough that Nate has that watch because it can hide the joint without limiting any articulation and make it so only the one arm needs to be seamless, but we still include a right arm with a wrist joint as well because there's only so much you can do with an arm stuck in one position.
The obsession with seamless/realistic figures gets even trickier with characters with exposed knees, elbows or chest. Collectors think medical grade silicone is perfect for these, because after all many statues have used it and they're lasting, but they fail to realize those statues are stuck in a certain pose, the silicone isn't being stressed from it's original mold shape. With a figure, any kind of articulation that changes the original mold shape will inevitably stress the silicone and make it so it will eventually crack. It doesn't even matter if it's in a harmless museum pose, if the body is not posed exactly like how it got out of the mold, the silicone will be under constant stress.
That was a bit long haha but I just had to point that out, it's a bit contradictory to want real leather and other genuine materials for figure clothes but many are willing to settle for silicone bodies and arms with no articulation for the sake of realism.
Back to your question, at least with Nate's system we don't have to worry about the longevity of the arms so of course Joel will be done the same way, and luckily for us, the healing mechanic from the game allows to also provide people the option of turning the jointed arm seamless by covering it with a bandage!
Do you have photos of your base?
Because for me it is not normal, I have seen photos of other receptions and the golden element where the piece is placed is not as high as mine, it must be lower than the plate "Nathan Drake" is at the same height as the element on the left representing a mountain.
It is normal that these 2 elements are at the same height to be able to maintain balance.
Mine not being aligned, the base does not have a good balance and moves when you press on it (I also think that it is because of this that the black plate with the pegs on which you fit the mast is not not straight)
Besides regarding this mast, I heated it and it finally came back in, but that's not why it holds well, it can come off at any time
Here is also a comparative photo with Justin's base (on the left) and mine to illustrate my points, The base must be like Justin's

Looking at ny base this morning got me thinking about this again.
I originally expected the artefact holders to be separate 'proximity' pieces, as Sideshow would describe them, that you could push up flush against the base.
Same. The displays are cool but I really wouldve liked a look with just the flagpole and cross. Would’ve been a bit more clean. It’s a little on the cluttery side and takes up a lot of space.I was hoping they'd be this way, too. As it stands I am a little disappointed they aren't really removable. I think the base is pretty cool and I love that they included the phurba dagger since U2 is my favorite, but I would have chosen to display it without them all at his feet like this. I gave them a pull to see how easily they could be removed, but they're in there good and I don't want to risk breaking them.

*Buy more from LimToys tooI can't believe I received my package, unboxing it now, had to pause and say, this is the best unboxing experience ever. I don't know where to start but damn, speechless. This is truly something else.
I absolutely love the body proportions, especially the arms they are taken out of the game, shoulder shape, the way the shirt fits the body, paint, weathering of the clothes, sweat, base, even the drawing of Nathan on the info sheet and holy **** the accessories are so detailed, it's like looking at details in 4K res.
Man there's just so much to adore and enjoy here. Thank you so much for this figure, I will definitely buy more from Kit.
