Curious if there are any Canadian buyers here that had their Batmobile shipped via sea, and if they experienced any delays. Mine went out around December 30th but the tracking hasn’t updated nor has it been picked it up by UPS. I was advised that the container has been stuck in customs since January 30th, but I have no way to confirm this. Has anyone experienced anything similar? I reached out to JazzInc for assistance as I’m about to hit the 60 day mark, and I’m awaiting their reply.

Yes this seems to have hit all Canadian customers. There are problems with understaffing of Canadian customs, so some packages are stuck for weeks before being processed.

I got mine in! I collect statues mostly and have some pretty decently sized, but no vehicles and nothing this long. It feels more like a true meseum piece than a collectible which is amazing. Was really happy with the size of the box and how compact things were.

I need to hide cables/put backing on my shelf and repose Batman from his stand pose, but love this so much!

Man, I really wish I'd jumped on this. I have the HT and it just doesn't look sleek and sexy or capture the absolute gothic elegance of this version.

I got around to seeing Nosferatu today and totally got what Eggers said about the cinematogrsphic inspiration coming from Batman Returns. Kept thinking of just how incredible the car looked in the sequel with the near black and white palette. The HT is even further from representing how it looked in that with its lacklustre finish.

You should look at the FB Jazzinc Batmobile group. Sometimes you see guys that offer it at resale.
In the meantime, I can’t disagree with you.
Having had the HT during 10 years, unboxing the Jazzinc was a totally fresh experience.
Seems like a completely new car and an exact representation of what we saw on screen in 1989.

Both the plaque and The Batmobile arrived today - plaque I've opened, and the car I'll do when I finish work - can't wait!

Honestly bummed I cancelled mine, now seeing the later batch versions seemingly rid of the denting.

Congrats to those who got this. It looks great.

honestly all batches are exactly the same. Mine is number 554, It was fully paid from February 2023, at the PO opening, received it already 3 months ago and if you don’t put harsh light onto it, you just don’t see any denting or scratch.
It’s just this fu..ing drama operated by bad people who killed the pleasure in the egg.
I’m so sad for people who canceled for nothing because of them.

camera lights highlight this indentations and the semi gloss paint create reflections.
Personally, in hand, if i never had heard anything about this drama, I wouldn’t have noticed anything on mine. Seriously It’s so tiny and superficial.

We know that this is why HT decided to reduce the mold and the size of the car.
On my side it absolutely doesn’t bother me as the vehicle looks like exactly the real car.

Received the JazzInc '89 Batmobile this week.....
My breath has been taken away.

A remarkable paint finish - some metallic/pearl flake can be seen in the right light - although not the flip/flop paint as announced with great fanfare upon launch. However certainly the best paint finish JazzInc have achieved so far. Yes, the sink/mold marks are annoyingly present & noticeable - but the rest of the vehicle is at such a high standard, I honestly don't think they really matter in-hand.

What does matter are the accurate proportions to the movie car, which are spot-on - and casts a large shadow over my Hot Toys version (literally) - which has now been replaced.

No need for the overly-noisy rotating turbine or garbled sound fx in my opinion - but I still would have loved the touted 'automated opening/closing canopy' - something I'm sure could be custom-fitted, to pair with the convincing jet exhaust effect.

Overall a most excellent, high-end model of an iconic movie vehicle. Thanks JazzInc. :)

Just received my 89 Batmobile and like many have said it’s amazing. Very big and heavy. I almost cancelled my order due to concerns raised regarding quality issues but based on how happy I was with my previous 3 orders I saw sense.

One quick question for those who have received theirs my right hand side of the engine cover is not fitting snuggly as pictured. Not sure if this is due to slight warping or if it’s designed this way. Any thoughts are greatly appreciated

Received mine few days ago and spent good hour looking for the "dents" under different light conditions. Could not find a single "dent" on it. Not sure if matters but my production number was in high 1800s.
