Hot Toys MMS233 -Predator 2 - 1/6th scale Elder Predator 2.0 Collectible Figure

Vaaaast improvement...
The head proportions seem different ...longer or I should say more vertical appearance of the crown, and I don't think it's just the angle, bc it looks like a different sculpt overall...even the paint apps are different...eyebrows are better and the shape of the eye sockets are different (a lot for p2 looking than p2 I think)

Great response to initial criticism

I liked the old one but this, this just blew me away! I am actually amazed that hot toys have listened for once! Also in my honest opinion this is probably the most accurate figure to date (Exluding Predators figure Tracker and Falconer because they have glued on masks) Goodjob Hot toys, I am very looking forward to Wolf and P1 now!

P.S: Now you can stop Tsang and give him some actual credit!

looks like what Moguchiy H sent them worked!
they even gave the left gauntlet a box of P2!!!
lots of other details are changed. and made more detailed.
is that some kind of a joke?
or did they finally fire tsang???

At least we now know that he can pull off a mean looking p1 with p1 proportions ....
I also liked the previous version, but it's because he was menacing...


Wow he even gave him that I'm so badass, I could care less look in his eye....

Wait a second guys, am I the only one who thinks that this is actually going to be the P1 sculpt and he has just took that sculpt and put it on this figure while adding quills,different paint and dreds? Just a thought...

that would be sad, because now the head's up part is too narrow & high even for Grayback, not to mention P1.

Version 1 of elder 2.0 certainly looks like a mean p1, but the updated sculpt as of a while ago seems like the new improved elder for sure...

im very happy hottoys, im gonna get 3 elders now, 1 for me 1 for my friend and 1 for my brother, now waitng for wolf version 3 and chopper and ancient asia ancient scar ancient us version.

Wow, the improvement is definately there but i'm shocked how fast this happened. With Celtic being bumped up to next month and these improvements is it possible the iron men armada is winding down and ht will go back to preds in 2014 and other lines without iron in them. I'd love to see more side by side comparison picks.

I'm just saying, because they literally got this headsculpt spot on. The main reason I brought this up was because it literally took him a week to change the sculpt. Knowin Tsang he wouldn't just change that fast, so this would have to be the P1 2.0 figure.

I think Tsang now knows what Kyle Windrix and Steve wang knew this whole time...
that p1 has a rounder curved crown, p2 has the steeper crown

...I'd say this would be the updated p2 elder for sure, and if he indeed can finally see the difference between his p1-looking first version vs the p2-looking improvement,
then we have a better chance at seeing a more accurate p1

They are professionals so one week is a enough time to revisit everything in that business...

even a little thing on sword's handle is added.
the only thing that they shouldn't touch was the head's dome shape i think. it was better before. well, on the contrary they fixed like a dosen of details.
they didn't change only the ribcage on the shoulder bag. it's still not ribcage but facehugger pawns. so let it be. plus we don't know yet if they did the proper a$$ cover, again let it be.

even if they didn't add that detail, i'm taking a piece from the old Grayback head's right side and using it to to that "haircut" mod.
