Not! If it was a wreck, it must've come from Mark Pellien. LOL. I only do mego scale.

Thanks, enaud. I know it's hard to tell from the angles, and none of the blueprints are 100% correct, but i questimate it's accuracy within an eighth of an inch. Also, i haven't forgotten you with regards to the Heston lifemask. Did you purchase the one on ebay? If not, i can always make you a...

Save the Planet of the Apes!!! - PIX ADDED!!

Remember the old expression, "Measure twice, cut once"? Well, it's been updated to "Measure twice, consult blueprints, consult Jim Key blueprints, consult set photos, consult screengrabs, then cut". LOL. Believe me, i've been scratching my head all the way through this. But, really, thanks for...

Yeah, really. I forgot about that return trip to San Francisco. Now i'm afraid to see it's condition considering all the little sculptures and stuffed humans i'd put in there. I shall see tomorrow.

Damn Kent, i forgot - everyone owned that. It literally flew around the world. NY to San Francisco to Arizona to Austrailia to Arizona back to NY i think. LOL. 12 years old, it's got to be in pieces by now.

I don't remember for sure, but that was likely the source. I don't think it was ever identified, but will probably turn up in a contact sheet somewhere like the unused mutant gorilla in Beneath. Sure can; i can make an ultracal copy of it. I'll add it to my list.

Hi, Thanks! Yes i have a positive of Heston's face taken during the making of that film. I'm not quite sure why he did it, (posterity?) though i have heard it was used to sculpt at least one of the gorilla appliances referred to through the years as the "Heston gorilla". What i need to do is...

Save the Planet of the Apes!!! - PIX ADDED!!

Hell no. I used to work on a lot of films, commercials and TV shows here in NY and, although the money wasn't very good, industry people knew i was a major apes fan and could motivate me to work by offering apes related items. It wasn't long before the appliances started rolling in and i would...

Yeah, Billy lives about 20 minutes from me. In fact, i'm heading over to his house this Saturday. Haven't seen him since my triplets were born 8 years ago. Looking forward to playing catch up. I understand he now owns that mego scale apes Museum i'd made many years ago. Before you spend a...

Ahahah.... "but there is no vulcan death grip". LOL. We had virtually the same reply. Maybe we were brothers seperated at birth. One of these days, i outta post a few pics of us terrorizing the college campus in our ape outfits.

Hi jess, I got a set of these years ago from Billy. The Brown glyph he sent you recently for your Zira outfit he got from me. I made it from a mold i made of one of the original chimp sleeve glyphs which were actually vacuform. If you need more, i still have the mold. The Zira mask is coming...

Save the Planet of the Apes!!! - PIX ADDED!!

Thanks Angel! You are quite right. Originally this started out as an extension to the front right dashboard his sculptor had done. As a standalone, i thought it looked great, but once i broke out the blueprints, it was obvious the proportions were all wrong. To my surprise, Chris was willing...

Save the Planet of the Apes!!! - PIX ADDED!!

LOL. I believe those were the jalopeno flavored glyphs. I mixed the last batch in a jalopeno jar my wife had put aside for me. But really, thanks! I'm so glad all worked out. Yes, the arm glyphs are definitely positioned in order. Also, PZ, i'm happy to hear the color was a better match to the...

Ah, music to my ears. I checked my Addar Zaius, and there are no boot glyphs, but here's another reference photo:

Hiya Stranger! The glyphs should arrive momentarily. I shipped PZ, Kfog's, and yours on Monday. I am looking forward to your reaction.

Thanks Jessica. I just pulled the first thin half set out this morning and i think all involved will be pleased. Kfog too, who ordered a set of each.

My pleasure. I don't like to see anyone disappointed, and ideally the glyphs should be "stick and go". Thanks for your patience and everyone's objective critique. I'm now taking the same approach with the classic glyphs as well. Keep you posted.

Agreed. If you think they're too thick, let me know, i'll make a you thinner set on me - call it the cost of doing business. Jessica too. I was just about to wrap up your set. Good thing i saw this. Also, i think the boot glyphs were a guestimate. I don't think the sculptor had a good referance...
