In fairness, we've only seen what, two examples of that head painted? One very good one (Howes) and one mediocre at best (no offense). For the money, I think Howes has turned out a great product. I do spot a few things here and there that I would maybe like to tweak, but that is being nit picky...

If it were really as bad as some are making it out to be, why wouldn't EVERYONE on Howes' lists be here frothing at the mouth? I'm just saying, I see how this can all be very enticing and entertaining for people to want to get involved. The more scandalous, the better, right? It's why tabloids...

Serang's is an excellent quality sculpt from a technical, craft perspective. But it couldn't look less like Laurie to me.

That looks awesome!! No offense but that other posted was a pretty bad paint job compared to this one. Very excited to get mine now! :joy

I heard from him recently, and he is fine, just really busy with tons of "real job" work. I expect to have my House head (and another project he was doing for me) arrive this week.

I agree with you Mollins. serang's is absolutely terrific in terms of detail and craft, but for me it's at best a vague likeness to Hugh. Still hope to have enough money for both though, since the extra accessories and such with serang's kit turned out really great.
