Hot Toys: Batman 85 Years Announcement Speculation

It always makes me laugh seeing villains and characters with obvious dental work like that, because I know what goes into having it done. Like the idea of having Cobblepot sit in my chair, receive anesthesia, and then sit for an hour or two to prep and impress a bridge or a few crowns is just...

Jazzinc Dioramas 1/6 Ultimate Catwoman (Batman Returns, 1992)

If we go with face plates, then I think all four of the standard release designs should be included. There's not enough variation in the brows to make a difference, especially since posable eyes are happening. But for the battle damaged version, I see where that's an issue.

NECA: 1/4 Batman 1989 Michael Keaton figure

Randy rather dislikes the high end part of collecting. Or at least he did back in the day. I doubt you'll ever see them go that route.

Hot Toys 1992 Batman Returns 2.0

I would bet a measley sum of money we're going to see a Catwoman now that Joost is making his.

InArt - Harry Potter 1/6 Collectible Figure

Maybe they should try to innovate and use magnets. 🤷‍♂️

Are those the same or similar to the pegs used on DAM bodies?

Wasn't that a likeness rights thing?

Hot Toys DX46: Terminator 2: Judgment Day - T-800 (Battle Damaged Version 2.0)

Seems like a lot of hoops to jump through just to have an inferior sculpt. But seems like you're spot on there. I mean I'll take it, he'll have the glasses on anyway, but it feels like a step back. I'm glad they're recognizing that Hwantakim can pull off some killer stuff though.

Hot Toys: Batman 85 Years Announcement Speculation

Welp if no one else is interested, then I should have no problem picking up Batgirl. I liked the original figure actually. But I am a **** for shiny purple stuff. I actually think this looks better than the original tbh. They're actually gonna get me to buy that figure twice.

Hot Toys DX46: Terminator 2: Judgment Day - T-800 (Battle Damaged Version 2.0)

I'm sure she bagan with a clean sculpt, and then worked her way down to the final look. All things considered though, the figure has a far better likenesses than what's shown there.

1/6 Hot Toy - MMS612 - Episode VI - ROTJ: Scout Trooper and Speeder Bike

Mine is still sealed (lol). But Good thinking. This is the best theory I can think of, but it doesn't explain why all of it is changing. I'd think it'd be more splotchy if it was the foam as it couldn't be in contact with all the spots at once. Are they double thick? As in it's two layers...

    Present Toys - 1/6 PT-50 & PT-51 T-800 Terminator (Battle Damaged)

This one is about to become my "thumbs up" version with a little customizing. I'm planning on getting two of the HT models so I'll have a spare fully BD sculpt.

InArt: The Lord of the Rings - Gandalf 1:6

If you heat the staff tip up a bit (not too hot), you should be able to take a narrow and flat tool and slowly advance it to the apex of the bulb/battery combo. You then rotate the tool down like a lever (not away, in a left of right fashion), and then twist like a bike handle. You should see...

That guy is a posing god. Obviously there's a lot of lighting and angles involved for his pictures, but he's seriously creative. Love his work.

Hot Toys Obi-Wan Kenobi (The Clone Wars)

Sweet, thanks for the update. I have the parts, just need to do the job. The padding on the traps helps a lot, I believe.

Hot Toys DX46: Terminator 2: Judgment Day - T-800 (Battle Damaged Version 2.0)

Yeah I agree, it's a pretty strong lull in new MCU and SW content. They need to go back for products. It's a good thing for us. I suspect this bodes VERY well for the Jungle Hunter Predator.

Hot Toys DX46: Terminator 2: Judgment Day - T-800 (Battle Damaged Version 2.0)

Because they titled this as a "battle damaged version" I guarantee they'll do a clean version. And they obviously know it'll sell.

Hot Toys Obi-Wan Kenobi (The Clone Wars)

Is this just a 1:1 transfer of the ROTS outfit to the new body and head? Looks really good. Better than previous attempts of this mod we've seen.
