1/6 Hot Toys - MMS 262 - Star Wars Episode IV - 1/6th scale Chewbacca Collectible Figure

1/6 Hot Toys - MMS 262 - Star Wars Episode IV - 1/6th scale Chewbacca Collectible Figure

Not at all. take it easy with the Pastels and go slow, if you put on to much simply brush it off or Blow it away. Oh forgot, I used a biggish Modeling Paintbrush to brush the fur in to a position that looks ok...its the best method I found not to damage the Figure and its pretty effective to...

1/6 Hot Toys - MMS 262 - Star Wars Episode IV - 1/6th scale Chewbacca Collectible Figure

I used Pastels you can apply them slowly and layer for layer using a normal Modeling Paintbrush, I used a Fixative from MIG between layers to keep it from smudging. Final Result is not so bad I think I also repainted the Eyes, I would not recommend that if you are not a pretty skilled...

1/6 Hot Toys - MMS 262 - Star Wars Episode IV - 1/6th scale Chewbacca Collectible Figure

Finaly my Chewbacca arrived and I pimped him a bit using Pastells and Gloss Clearcoat I used lighter brown Pastells to get the face more like it should be (in my Opinion)you have to use a sort a Fixative between layers as you will be wiping it away otherwise as you go along building it up...

Hot Toys - MMS - Star Wars Episode VII: TIE Pilot

Hmm if it is a Visor and its not movable its a petty...another small detail, look at the small latches located next to the eye lenses. Looks like they should attach to something like a lock mechanism for a VISOR!!!! :lecture :rotfl

Hot Toys - MMS - Star Wars Episode VII: TIE Pilot

Maybe discussed and answered but is that weird "cappy thingy" a visor? To me it looks like it fits the front side of the helmet...or? EDIT: A guy ( Soulinertia) over at the therpf.com has exactly the same thought.

1/6 Hot Toys - MMS 262 - Star Wars Episode IV - 1/6th scale Chewbacca Collectible Figure
