That Reventon is gorgeous, Atheris!

Re: 1:18 - 1:12 Die-cast Cars - **COLLECTORS CLUB**

That Reventon is freakin' hot. I'm tempted to try and track one down. It's not in the $1000s is it!?

EDIT: Nevermind... it looks like it's in the multiple thousands. :(

Yes friend, unfortunatly these cars present a significant investment to add to any collection. I bought this Reventon for $6000 Canadian once landed. You have to be very devoted to this hobby to be crazy enough to drop that kind of cash........but is it worth it.....absolutely! These models scream quality unlike any collectible you've ever seen.

Thanks man, I never get tired of looking at it. It will never leave my collection.

Re: 1:18 - 1:12 Die-cast Cars - **COLLECTORS CLUB**

Awesome photos and collections guys. I'm gonna get the autoart 1:12 lamborghini gallardo for Xmas. Can't wait. The revention is a beaut for sure.

Awesome man, you'll love it. Get one while you can though AA is scraping their 1/12 line. They will no longer be making any more 1/12 scale cars or 1/12 Lambos according to a friend of mine who works for them. The economy and the cost to produce 1/12 scale cars is just not financially feasible anymore. As a result they wont be making anymore for a lonnnnnng time.

Well said Chris. You need to be a true collector to invest so much money in them. But it is all worth it if you are a die-hard collector.

For sure man, a fellow collector like yourself would understand. But most people just cant wrap their heads around the thought. Infact, the day I bought my Reventon Nicole Scherzinger happen to be visiting the store during the Toronto film festival. She was looking for a model for her BF at the time. She was looking at amalgams 1/8 Bugatti veyron, when the owner of the store told her it was 6k she said "thats way to expensive, you would have to be crazy to spend that much on a model car" :lol

Some other interesting news I got today though, the owner of the store I get my models from emailed me asking if I would be interested in a 1/8 scale lamborghini cesto elemento................I couldnt resist :gah:

Yeah, I usually wouldn't even consider it for the price...

But this is bad... I can't stop staring at pics of that beast... usually for me that's only one step away from taking the leap.... :thud:

Re: 1:18 - 1:12 Die-cast Cars - **COLLECTORS CLUB**

Upcoming AUTOart 1:18 Pagani Zonda R. I'm not into collecting model cars but I'm probably going to pickup this piece. Insane details and the carbon fiber looks real good.

Autoart is pretty cool. I have a couple of models. As compared to Maisto and Bburago, Autoart is way better. Anyways do post pics once you aquire this Zonda. Cheers:)

Re: 1:18 - 1:12 Die-cast Cars - **COLLECTORS CLUB**

That's a nice Zonda!

I have few 1:18 models:

AA Bugatti Veyron
Kyosho 427 Cobra

and few movie cars: DeLorean, Christine, Bluesmobile and AutoArts Mad Max Interceptor.

AutoArt Bugatti Veyron Sang Noir looks awfully tempting also. I am also waiting for the eventual releases of Veyron Pur Sang and Super Sport :)

Super Sport I might purchase in 1:12 if it comes available for a "decent" price.

Re: 1:18 - 1:12 Die-cast Cars - **COLLECTORS CLUB**

Atheris would it be cool if you posted some more detailed pics of the 1:12 Gollardo? If not thats cool, jsut wanted to see some other pics instead of the Manufacturers ones.
