Bobby c's one is just over 1k, I am talking about a painted sculpt that people pay thousands for. I don't know of any 1/6th sculpt apart from Adam's Ledger's one that people pay that sort of money for.

And people used to ***** about the cost of Bobby's ... it was a bargain after all lol

Just kidding. Yes I cant think of any off the top of my head. I wish we got to see more of that Adam 1/4 joker fully finished and posed. It did look rather insane .

Yeah I know, I bet at the time they would never imagine that one day Adam's ones would be selling for double that, especially since in those days Adam's ones only cost a few hundred.

Like on an EB Joker body?

People have mixed reviews about the likeness on Bobby's, so it is probably best not to post pics here because there is a lot of hate for the sculpt and threads have been shut down. I would just check out his 1:1 scale stuff on google.

Do you mind to explain why there was so much hate for Bobbys joker sculpt? I joined on here last year so obviously that happened before I came on here.

I never really got the hate to be fair. I still think he's is one of the best out there and iv yet to see a better 1:1 joker .

No I don't mind explaining, the problem is he painted most (not all) of his 1/6th (and some 1/3rd) ones horribly and because of that the likeness was masked by a lot of thick paint. So when a great number of people saw the finished product and the prices he charged, they just wanted to bash both the people who bought the sculpt and the sculpt itself.

I would agree with that, but Adam is the best, when it comes to totally nailing the likeness of Ledger. That being said, Bobby's one is still up there.

Any photos of Bobbys??

Here's mine.
And Darkavatar is correct. The issue when bobby released this was he was on uncharted territory working on silicone in 1/6. All his work have been fullsize.
His prototype was great, but then after, most were heavily caked with paint.
And he doesn't use water based acrylic since its silicone, he might have used oil based paint so it came out too thick.
So a lot of bickering went on, specially cause of the price, so the thread got closed.
I was one of the last ones on the list so I was lucky to get one of his best as he had a lot of practice since then.
I got this one.

yea, that one looks great. That looks like a $2k 1/6 Joker at the least. Looks like some Kato clothing on that one too. If it was 1/4 or 1/3, I would've been all over that. I will prolly have to settle for this Prime version.

Thanks for the pics Remy. You got a good one there!

Np man, and thank you. :)

Wow that's fantastic the sheen on the lips is great! Love the hair also.

Thanks, he did do a good job. Bobby's wife individually punched in the hair on the silicone so that's why the hair looks natural. It's not glued on.

Thank you. My personal top two favorite Heath joker are Adam and bobby. Adam being the best. So Ive always wanted one of Adam's specially since I had a chance to commission a joker from him before his price skyrocket. But stupid me, I backed out of it. So I've always kinda regret it, that's why I wish this would have been 1/4.
It would still fit in with my collection.

Congrats to those who can get this prime1 as I'm sure this would be a centerpiece to anyone's collection.

If any sculpt should be over 1 K then it is Bobby's (provided it is painted good). The sculpt is just pure quality, the glass eyes, the rooted hair and the silicon material used to give the appearance of real skin. The only reason why people want Adam's more is because the likeness is better, but if both were equal in likeness then Bobby's would remain superior, it has everything that is essential for making it life like, similar to CM statues.

He has a 1/3 version statue, one sold for under 2 k on ebay, I am guessing less people now want his Joker since the likeness is not as good as Adams.

I will prolly have to settle for this Prime version.

While the sculpt on this statue will not look as realistic as Bobby's, the likeness is so much better.

Bobby's joker cost about $1,500 and it takes him 2 months for making 1/6 head. Its great sculpt though to be honest, but i'll take adam's sculpt any day. Its just too hard to contact him. I hope this joker cost about 2 grand

Ah here this thread is. No updates I assume? Hopefully this will be shown at SDCC. This, Yoda life size, and Primes Batman Arkham Knight are slowly peaking my interest into the statue game.

just the 1/6 head alone was $1500? I'm getting a 1:1 bust from Howard for just over twice that amount

will be at SDCC. I don't think this will be hard to get. Being the only quality Heath Joker statue out there, you know they will make a ton of these.

Thanks nothing, Adam's heads are nearly double that. Howards 1:1 scale busts are pure quality but the likeness (although quite good) isn't on the level as Adams or Bobbys, which why people pay high prices for those sculpts, even though at the end of the day they are just toy heads. Personally, IMO you are getting more bang for your buck buying Howard's bust as it looks like a real person and I would love to own it.

I think they will make roughly the same number of these as the Transformers or possibly less because of it being 1/2 scale.:dunno

I agree, Bobbys and Adams likeness may be slightly better, but I could never justify $5k+ for a bust. Howards work is still amazing and top notch to me. I also think his work is more bang for the buck. I will feel extremely lucky to own one of his pieces. I will still want the Prime piece, but yea, no hurry with those kinds of ES numbers.
