Well the suit does have 2 minor changes, which HT should definitely incorporate:

The gloves are now 'tucked' into the gauntlets

The neck piece is new, thicker - which along with the fact that Bale is more built this time around, makes the neck look more 'substantial':

How can you see his gloves? I didn't know if they were tucked in or not. When it comes to things like that I could care less. The way they did the gloves last time is fine with me. As long as they fix that ugly head sculpt, long neck and at least make some attempt to make him more articulated I'm good. And why the hell does HT keep giving their Batman figures these thick *** capes that don't hang naturally? I mean it's not that big of a deal to get a custom considering their easy to get and cheap but what the hell? You would think it would be a piece of cake. Even Takara made a nice cape...that and cape clips. :lol

Anyway, it's good to hear that Bale bulked up a little for the role this time, I didn't know that. I didn't like how he wasn't in TDK. That's what I loved about BB, he got freakin huge( at least in some scenes). It was nice to have someone dedicated to role like that and we finally got a Batman that looks like he could handle himself outside the Batsuit.
It's insane what Bale does to his body for roles. When you look at pics of him in order of American Psycho, The Machinist and then Batman Begins your in awe of that sort of dedication and determination. He was sooo skinny in The Machinist, disgusting even.

Yeah agreed :goodpost:

The gloves I didn't notice myself, another member posted about it in the SHH boards, and then I verified with the pics we have seen so far. Here's a good example I think

TDK (sorry for huge image, but it's so you can see what i'm talking about):

Here the strap of the glove is exposed, as it was throughout TDK, and that's the way the figures are too

TDKR:

The strap is tucked under the gauntlet. It's the same way if you look at any set pics or other pics from TDKR

Agree it's a minor thing, would be cool if HT picked up on it. The change is the neck armour though is more apparent and definitely thicker this time around. Would definitely want them to get that right.

It took me a few glances to see it, but I gotcha' the neck armor is probably the most notable change. I can't wait for the products to start rolling out.

Well he is in better shape this time:

I don't get it, I'm going to the gym for almost a year now, and I'm nowhere near to what Christian Bale does to his body in a couple of months..

It's because you have a life and job. Bale takes this away when physically changing for a role. It's like 24/7 Gym and eat.

Hmm, I kinda like them. Now that you've showed me I'll always notice. :lol If HT doesn't get lazy like they did with the TF they'll take care of it. I have no doubt that they will notice the difference it's just the fact if they do anything about it.

There's no doubt that Bale puts in a ton of hard work to get his body like that for roles but you must take into consideration that he has world class physical trainers too. The best money can buy. They know the regiments, the foods and few other tricks to enhance you physically in record time as long as you have the endurance which he obviously does. I'm still in awe when I look at pics of him from The Machinist then pics of him in Begins. Especially scenes of him training with L.O.S.

It depends on the person,my brother is like that,he can go from being a little heavy to looking like he was carved from a slab of marble in matter of months.

Decided to stick on Begins just now. Imagine if they could have taken footage of child Bale in Empire of the Sun and CG-superimposed his face over the child actor playing kid Bruce.
