Yeah, but it won't be long until there's an even larger scale to grab the attention away from 1/4 scale figures, and so on, and so forth. By my estimates of the current trend:

1/6 ---> 1/4 ---> 1/2 ---> 1/1 ---> 2/1 ---> ????/asdf ---> wadaphoque/lolcats

I like both. I was collecting the Diamond Direct Star Wars 1/4 characters and loving them. The price was low and the quality was not bad and tbh I paid like 30 bucks for my 18" Maul and liked it more than my SS 1/6 version, BUT, then they canceled without ever even doing a Vader and the whole line seemed like I'd bought dinosaurs a dying breed. With no room for growth on the horizon I sold them off, but I will definitely get into 1/4 if it looks like companies will commit to them and come out with new models on a fairly consistent basis.

I'm sticking with 1/6. 1/4 simply takes up too much room and are too expensive!
