1/4 scale versions are on the left. 1/5 on the right. Thanos is current comiquette at PF size.

when i first started collecting i dont really care if its 1/4 or 1/5, the more i get into collecting them the more i find 1/4 better in everyway. maybe the only 1/5 that looks good is punisher comqi

Same, after seeing all the 1/4 scale brilliance, I converted so the smaller scale stuff was boxed as it just doesn't cut it for me anymore Punisher com is a little small but looks awesome.

i sold most my 1/5, punisher stays with me. most of my collecter now is 1/4 and maybe some hottoys stuff

Certain Statues like BD Planet Hulk are awesome no matter the scale. Plus displaying teams is much better done with 1/6 especially with large teams like the X-MEN

Just for Sideshow statues for uniformity 1/4 is cool. At least BD is mostly in the same scale for uniformity.

oh ok. The preference is that SS just stay in the 1/4th scale all the time? I need to go back and read more.

It doesn't bother me, but if you have the space to display some of these together I can understand that.

If you have space concerns there is Bowen, Koto and quite a few others you can buy from too. Sideshow already has a monopoly on scale for Marvel no point encroaching on their territory as well.

Actually, I was being very serious in that I thought it would be cool for them to add LED eyes on a Selene comiquette like they did with Cyclops! Especially if they made her true 1/4th so she would tower over the rest of the X-Men. You wound me.

BTW...I prefer 1/4 but I really don't care what scale it is as long as I like the character, pose, etc, etc.

1/4 fully sculpted for me. The problem is that we won't see this unless a character can't be made as a PF. For Example... Silver Surfer, Iron man, Venom, and Carnage won't be made as PFs. So, we get 1/4 scale comiquettes instead. This is a problem if you don't care for PFs. I only collect comiquettes. This is a big problem when I display pieces together. A 1/4 Surfer does look off when it's displayed next to a 1/5 Thanos.

I'm at the point where I'll even take ALL comiquettes being made in 1/5 scale. I can live with that if I was forced to. It's this constant difference in scale that drives me nuts!

I wish that SSC just went 1/4 scale for all marvel pieces from the start. It would have made things easier for all of us.

im just really glad they are stating to give us this information now before we purchase it helps.... i hate getting a piece putting it in the collection and going... "darn that doesnt look right."
