Medi all the way...and I am not so sure that SSC's will be better..the detail in the medicom is amazing and I havent seen such detail in any of my sideshow figures as of yet.

medicom's sculpt is definatly the best out there IMO, put him on a slim TT and the size difference will probably not bother you, doesnt bother me anyway.
here's what you can do when you repaint a Medi:

Why should you have to change the body (Slim TT will be too big/tall for the suit BTW) or even repaint a $180 figure?

Body looks a bit thick and large relative to the head, and the helmet's a bit narrow looking. I'd rank Medicom #1, Marmit #2 and Hasbro #3 of the articulated 12" Bobas out there.

lol. I've been into collecting not so long yet, and it's yet to say Sideshows will be better. I dont think they will, but its a wait a see situation. And heck, I like customizing my toys. They look better that way lol.

Nothing wrong with that, but in these discussions/arguments, it's usually about the quality you get out of the box and how much you pay for that, and a lot of people are putting hopes that what you had to do with custom work on the Medicom figure, Sideshow will achieve with their production Boba Fett for less money than the Medicom plus custom work.

I did it because it DOES look better when I paint it up myself, and well, I dont care if its 180 dollars or 50 dollars, IF I can improve on it, why shouldnt I do it? I'm not planning on selling it, and if I did I'm sure I would catch more $ for my repaint then for a regular medi.

I own the Marmit Fett. I customized mine (but it on a different body, weathered it, etc.) I really like it. I think all 3 of the Fetts out there have good things going for them.

If you have to customize it further than how it comes, especially at $180, perhaps it's not the best version to recommend.

Im just extremely nitpicky. Medicom Boba is AWESOME out of the box IMO.

ALSO would like to point out that besides height, SS Vader SUCKS at being ANH Vader. And their Boba PF had a lesser sculpt than Medi's Boba . So I dont know where all the "SS will be more accurate" talk is coming from.. as for Boba being to small.. true, a little, but SS Vader was too tall..
