Have to say, although the third pic one is literally perfect, there is something about the WIP that I prefer. Not sure why.

Absolutely immense stuff though.

I think it's just my personal preference on the expression myself. I prefer the slightly more lucid look of the WIP.

No denying how scarily accurate the new one is.

The only thing I think I might prefer about the WIP is that the mouth is closed.

Id say those are two comlete different heads. The WIP is clearly based on a Batman Begins Bale (more weight), the finished version is TDK skinny Bale.
Both expressions work good for what they are. When Bruce returned to Gotham he was the smiling Playboy who might have had a chance to find his rest with Rachel. In TDK he became more and more the serious/ sad Bruce who questioned every part of his behaviour (especially Batman as he lost Rachel to Dent)... In the end his only true love dies, so a smiling Bruce wouldnt work for THE TDK hedsculpt. If I had to chose, Id take them both.

I actually think the wip is just a wip of the same sculpt - If I remember correctly, Adam posted that wip right after tdk came out

Obviously he's reworked it significantly if that's the case

Is it just me, or do Adam's sculpts almost make you depressed to buy Hot Toys? His sculpts are head and shoulders above theirs. It's like...what's the point, if some 23 year old kid is knocking out way better stuff in his bedroom? I really don't know why he doesn't start selling them, if only to people on this forum -- there are so many takers here he wouldn't need to hold another job until 2020. Anyway. Just one guy's thoughts.

Yes, I had the same problem with my Bruce all day.

I wanted to upgrade my Bruce to an AB sculpt but now this wouldnt feel enough. Guess I will stay just with the HT heads unless I get somehow my hands on this piece(s?). But I can understand Adam to not make these available to everyone. Just imagine you get 50+ orders and have to fullfill all of them while you are still in life and have to fullfill you personal commitments such as school. You get a lot of money, yes. But check the customs section, how many people are in a backlog situation now for years... If he ever decides to make it available Id leave out one night in the strip club to afford it, but if he doenst, I can understand.

Here's a detail shot, maybe you can see the skin texture a bit better. I know some of you like the hot toys texture; I personally think it's a bit over done. Just personal preference.
