The facsimile would be a cheat, but keep a set consistent.
Mind you, they couldn't charge extra!
So, 1,2 and 3 need that something extra, or do they.
I think the First Doctor as a 1:6 figure would just be class to own. I'm not overly keen on the Second Doctor, but would still like a figure. The Third Doctor is my favorite, and I'm sure BCS will do him proud. Those guys could, now that I think about it, come with special extras, in a similar fashion to the HT special editions.

I think they have something in mind, I suggested the very same type of idea a while back and their response was along the lines of 'Yes, we're working on ideas' so they certainly do have it in mind.

I found that reassuring.

I've literally never heard of anyone before who didn't love the Second Doctor!

A BC Troughton would be awesome.

Troughton is an ok Doctor. I don't love him and don't hate him.
I also would want several other characters before him. For me Doctors 3, 5, 6, and 9 would be of more interest. And a few villains/monsters/aliens would not be bad either.

A BC Troughton would be awesome.

Troughton is the only other Doctor I would splash out this much money on.

Don't know but first thing I'll be doing is porting him over to a Hot Toys slim like Smith. I just prefer a sturdier body for posing.

I can't remember, was there a limit to how many you could buy? Just wondered if someone like BBTS might have snapped up some to re-sell. You'd pay an pretty extra penny though.

These were limited to one per customer.
As BBT, etc were selling at same price as BCS they must have got discounts on bulk orders for 11 and Amy.
BCS have realized that they can sell their entire stock from their own site, so why bother giving third party sellers discounts.

There will supposedly be another version of 10ent in the future, but not this year. I'd look to 2015.

BCS have realized that they can sell their entire stock from their own site, so why bother giving third party sellers discounts.

11 and Amy were distributed through Diamond and not exclusive to BCS like 10 and 4.

I do think BCS are cutting out the middle man in order to recoup some of the funds from the Amy debacle. But I hope it's not their standard MO. I'm making exceptions for 10 and 4... but I couldn't keep paying so much due to the exchange rates and shipping as a US customer forever.

I hope that would be the case, but the 11th figures weren't exclusives to BCS

The version that retail stores had didn't come with the damaged 10th sonic screw driver - that was an exclusive to the Big Chief site.

Speaking of which, does anyone have one to spare? I bought my 11th doctor a few months on Ebay, which didn't come with one.

Thing is, BCS are selling these ex vat to non uk customers, and postage doesn't hit the cost of vat, so, I can't see a better option than to buy direct from BCS.

I agree. These are higher than HT prices with shipping and the exchange rate (HT would probably charge around $180 and be superior in many ways.) 10 and 4 (and 3) are the pinnacle of Who, I won't pay $260 or so for many figures.

I also noticed that the 11th and (and likely, the Amy figure), dropped in price after coming out in the States. Perhaps having the next two doctors being exclusives is because of possible poor sales of the 11th Doctor, as well as the 10th and 4th Doctors not being the Doctor's current incarnation.

I can see the Doctor after Smith being a non exclusive if that is BCS' reasoning of making Tennant and Baker exclusives

141.66 + 27.50 = 169.16 ( less than UK price before postage), and at today's exchange, $255.48

I think for me, if BCS makes the rest of the Doctors, I would probably end up getting 3rd, 7th, 8th, and possibly 6th. I agree that these figures are way too much
