The wire in the scarf is sweet. I can't wait to get this one in hand.
Yeah. me too. I'm still undecided about how good a likeness it is, but actually, this is one figure where it doesn't matter that much because it's so damn striking - a really unusual looking figure that perfectly catches Tom's bug-eyed personality. I can't afford this at all but I am really thinking hard about saving up through January to try and get it.
I loved the accessories and the tailoring. The idea that one day BC might produce a Troughton figure like this - with a penlight sonic, recorder, 500 year diary, cloak, removable hair and tall hat... really wish they'd do Troughton and Hartnell together and save on the black material they'd need!
Seriously? All the time you spend on this thread and you would consider missing this figure? I'm sure you'd be guaranteed to regret it.
Oh, and I forgot to mention how impressed I am with what they did with the backdrop!
I would consider missing it because I have Tennant on the way, I couldn't easily afford it...
I also had to reduce my pre-orders. Only collecting this line, anymore. Life's expensive as heck.
it seems BCS have extended the "Before Christmas" date to December 12th now (instead of the 6th) to pay these off.

I didn't think greggo wrote anything but adding his two cents just like everyone else. I think you may be mistaking being critical of someone's opinion with being dismissive. She gave her opinion of the piece (having seen the production piece in person). Greggor gave his in contrast having the seen the production piece and actually having the prototype right next to him.
Gentlemen, let us lower our heads for a moment to mark the passing of Lewis Collins, aka Bodie from The Professionals.

Then knock back a couple of whiskies, tuck a gun into the waistband of your flared trousers, shag a couple of dollybirds, light up a Rothmans, and jump out of the third floor of a Warehouse in Docklands before landing on the bonnet of a Ford Cortina and walking away unharmed.
Ah, the Seventies. Great days.
