Dooku was a pretty crappy character too. Even the actor that played him thought so.
Grievous is a pretty cool design, but do people even really like that character?

That's pretty true, too. But I think Dooku was more under-used than anything else. He had the potential to have been a classic SW character.
But this is what happens when you make crap up as you go along like Lucas did. We have some cool new characters in the prequels, but most never really transcend above their contrived nature.
I think George should have stuck with one enemy and have had their character develop through the prequels.

Not sure what else besides the cape you could do for a Grievous Exclusive besides a unique base, Obi-Wan came with his gun, which also makes me wonder, would Grievous come with that or would you have to have Episode 3 Obi-Wan to give him the gun. He really doesn't come in contact with anything, a holo projector of Sidious or Dooku perhaps. I can't think of anything from Clone Wars that he could come with.
Someone had suggested lightsabers coming molded to his hands, so if that happened they could have a hand/blaster combo that would not violate their exclusive rule.

I dunno. Even being molded to his hand, wouldn't that still be moving a little too close to ROTS Obi Ex territory?
Wasn't the exclusive Legolas hand used with ANH Kenobi? Does that count as a reuse or not because it wasn't in the same line?

A 1:6 Dooku, however, is good news indeed.

Not really, if Grievous' hand is permanently molded to the gun, then you can't use the gun with Obi-Wan so the Ex. version having a gun he can hold still has value.
Darth Maul isn't really as interesting as people make him out to be. Cool look, love the double bladed lightsaber and Ray Park really showed his athletic prowless but if you look at the character himself and what we saw of him in The Phantom Menace there isn't much to get excited about. He is kind of one dimensional from Lucas's standpoint. If they had melded Maul's character and Dooku's character, make one apprentice that was a skilled fighter yet a dignified statesmen, then I think we would have an amazing character that would endure far past the prequels themselves but as it stands Maul in all three movies would have just been more of the same, a flash in the pan.
That is true, although I feel like we'll get the Bodyguard staff as the Ex. or who knows maybe they'll take a page from the PF and make the cape the Ex.
I hate the Grevious character but loved the design, well in reality I liked Grevious in Genndy Tartakovsky's Clone War mini cartoon but hated him in ROTS. The design though is awesome and he is my favorite Star Wars PF to own. I would get the 1:6 figure on that point alone.
As for Dooku, I found him amazingly boring and a character that never lead to its full potential. I thought making him Qui-Gon Mentor and Yoda's student was boring because it forced the parallel to Obi-Wan and Anakin and made it less unique as well as made the line of masters and padawans all too predictable. His role in the films were minimal and even the fight in AOTC was in my opinion to show off Yoda more than show anything worthwhile in Dooku. The Dooku character seemed to have a lot of rich history even if you subtracted the fact he was Qui-Gon's master or Yoda's student that would have made him a multi-leveled personality but Lucas always held him back. We see more in the sidestories, comics, animated series and cartoons that make him more dynamic than Lucas ever did. Other than his interesting Lightsaber design which loses its appeal rather quickly, I don't find one redeeming thing about Dooku save Lee's performance which was regal and fitting but not much to howl about either. I have no plans to pick up that one.
