I have to admit as a big Lakers fan I'm pretty excited about this figurine and all the thing I read in this thread make me even more impatient.

Kobe with the adidas shoes is a must. PLUS we need someone to make that number 8 jersey above and the afro to make it a complete young "jellybean" high flying kobe in his youth. lol

Well They just came instock and Enterbay for $225 shipped the figure actually costs $180 which im surprised since its an NBA license and that stuff is always expensive.

Even though some things on this figure is putting some peeps off, it's still good enough for me. I won an auction on eBay for around $270. Price is a bit high (I suspect it will be around $225 shipping included when EB puts it up), but I want it NOW, even though it's like a Aug/Sep release anyway

I guess you US peeps might have to go another route to purchase this figure, instead of directly through EB. When I read the product description for the Kobe figure it read:

Due to the licenseing issue, this product is only available to customers from Asia, Australia and New Zealand.

Or was that simply written to please whoever EB needs to please, where licensing is concerned? Hmmm, I wonder.

It also read:

Kobe Bryant has led the Lakers to the NBA Championships before and has been awarded the Most Valuable Player Award (MBP) four times.

They should write All Star Game MVP

Edit: I went ahead & purchased another I don't usually double up on a figure, & haven't done so in a bit. But I think this one is worth it. Weird shoulders, knee's & everything

I think EB doesn't discriminate against the colour of your money, & might simply ship wherever, no matter what licensing issues they might be facing

This figure has been out for a little bit now, & still there aren't (that I know of anyway) any proper official EB promo pics, to show off the figure. EB's website still only has a picture of the box
