No worries daboybk :D

I'm waiting for Enterbay to put it up for order as well. I'm curious to see what the official pricing on this will be. I want another one, if my wallet allows.

Enjoy your purchase :hi5:

How were u able to get 2 of these mate? U 1 lucky dude. I know some people get to sell but I just want this and Jordan for my collection not really a Lebron fan enough to buy this but Jordan Pippen yes. Maybe we can get D. Howard Lakers one.

I also wish they make like alternate accessories we can buy separate like Kobe Olympic Jersey or Kobe #8 LA Jersey. Very nice to have these.

Re: Enterbay NBA Series Kobe Bryant - Michael Jordan NEXT?!! ;)

Perhaps they should not have gone with double jointed knee's. Maybe a single joint, 90 degree bend would suffice, & you'd still be able to pose him nicely, & it would look better. But then of course you wouldn't be able to do this:

But who would display him like that?

Me. That pose is cool :D

What background is that used? Thats hot

Re: Enterbay NBA Series Kobe Bryant - Michael Jordan NEXT?!! ;)

Recieved mine not so long ago. Still playing around with it :D

Kobe/Blade/Spiderman

I now have 3 figures that share my top fav 1/6 figures that I own. Enterbay finally made it there :hi5:

A couple of things I noticed that I don't remember reading here:

- Only one pair of hands have magnets.
- Figure doesn't have bare feet (sculpted shoes & cut off socks).
- The box is a nice compact size when compared to most HT/EB boxes I have.

I'm still not the biggest fan of the smiling sculpt (still looks strange to me), but the other is stellar. Arm joints are nice & tight, legs are not as tight, but still alright. I think the scaling is nice too. I put it next to my HT Bruce Lee, & he looked tiny :lol

Kobe is my fav NBA player, so that might have something to do with this figure making my top figure list, but I'm seriously happy with how this figure turned out.

I want another one :D

No real feet, huh? Good to know. Is the upper torso underneath sculpted like the arms? Thanks for all of the great info.

Yeah, no real feet. I'm sorry I don't fully understand what you mean about the upper torso being sculpted like the arms. The upper body has a rubber overlay, if that is what you are referring to. The rubber starts from the neck, but I'm not sure how far down the rubber goes on the body, since I haven't undressed the figure. Sorry :D

:lol

Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger.

Re: Enterbay NBA Series Kobe Bryant - Michael Jordan NEXT?!! ;)

I just bought the Iron Man Gantry. Just snapped these pics with Kobe in it. :lol

[/URL]

This pic shows exactly why I hate the shoulders on this fig. They just do not flow into the arms correctly!!! If they dont fix this for the MJ figure, I'll definitely pass on that too, no matter how much I love MJ.

Re: Enterbay NBA Series Kobe Bryant - Michael Jordan NEXT?!! ;)

I see what you mean. I wouldn't let that stop me from getting Jordan though.

Re: Enterbay NBA Series Kobe Bryant - Michael Jordan NEXT?!! ;)

Today people buy anything. Has many joints that looks like a Lego. For me, that figure is not worth anything,

Pure garbage

"Kobe Lego Bryant"

Enterbay = Passion for the imperfection

I wouldnt go that far. In some pics, the Kobe figure does look great. I guess I'm getting a little pickier in my figure selection since I cant afford to get everything.

With MJ, he's such an iconic personality with a huge fanbase, so you'd think they'd put all the money they could into getting it right. With MJ, if the figure was done right, I would think they would make a ton of money from it! But if they **** it up, it will really tarnish Enterbay's reputation to ruin a figure of MJ's popularity.

Re: Enterbay NBA Series Kobe Bryant - Michael Jordan NEXT?!! ;)

There are definitely customer for everything.

This figure and Michael Jordan, will be a hit, but in view of a selective collector, are merely toys for children.

Enterbay has been noticed that doing anything and sell it.

We are collectors, not children.

Re: Enterbay NBA Series Kobe Bryant - Michael Jordan NEXT?!! ;)

My intention wasn't to post a fun picture to have it picked apart....... I see the shoulder issue but some of it is the jersey and some is also the rubber neck and chest area. And yes some is just poor engineering. Its an ultra posable figure so several joints are necessary. But if there were little to no joints like Hot Toys Hulk (which I preordered) there would still be the all knowledgeable critics. I just buy them for entertainment and to have a fun mini museum. Either that or I'm just a dumb child that buys anything???:dunno

I guess I have to explain myself better. What I meant is that some of these figures are sculpted to look like skin on the arms and in the case of Kobe here, legs. Like HT Perseus. His arms and legs are sculpted to look like they have a skin like texture. Sometimes they do it on the torso like HT Wolverine. Sometimes they don't like HT Perseus. But you answered my question. Rubber neck that leads to the upper body?
That's exactly what I wanted to know. Thank you, sir.

Toy collector's have a hierarchy, what's next. I though HT, SS, EB, Medicom etc. were all producing high end toys. :rotfl:rotfl:rotfl

Eh don't let a few sour apples ruin your fun. Most of us appreciate and acknowledge your efforts for what they were. Others may have something wedged a bit too tightly...:wink1:
