So cool, the head sculpt looks bang on in the picture with the helmet on and pipe in hand. This would be a really easy line to complete with only three main guys from the mini series and would make a great display to represent the pacific theater.

John basilone with his Iwo jima kit reuse M1 carbine and a special edition that comes with the 30cal since thats what facepool does would make sense to do.

Two is the way to go with this one, since there are two distinct looks.

There's a couple of things that Facepool have been advised to change:

1) Remove the bayonet lug from the M1 carbine as it wasn't introduced until 1945, and very few reached the front lines.

2) Remove the 'US' from the M1 ammunition pouch as it wasn't put onto USMC issue.

The extra arms will also be useful for Stauffenberg because he only comes with a relaxed pair.

The "US" stamp on the pouches are easy fixes, too.

We'll definitely need to find an appropriate looking second sculpt for that second figure.

Curious that they did not include a base/stand for this one, seeing that one was included for Stauffenberg.

I may end up ordering one of each. The deluxe or special edition's jointless arms look pretty cool. Would be my first venture into this type of figure.

I was thinking of getting one of each, but in the end decided to get two special editions as the six extra arms look to be good value, depending on their compatibility with other bodies, when compared to similar offerings from other companies.
