Re: 1/6 Heath Ledger Joker head by MonkeyRobotMaster

Laughing head look great ..may get one as i also have the br joker and i would like both my jokers to have mrm sculpts.

hehe, I've planed the same thing. But just glad I got the money for the first sculpt and sent monkey it. Can't wait now to have it in hand and now again saving some money for the laughing one ^^

Re: 1/6 Heath Ledger Joker head by MonkeyRobotMaster

A sidenote for you guys: Anyone who wants their head to ship BEFORE Christmas needs to have their payment in by the weekend of the 18th. Heads that are paid for after that will ship after the new year.

I realize that you have a lot on your plate right now but have you given any thought of making a Gordon headsculpt? Your are best shot at having a Gordon to go with the rest of the Batman crew.

Re: 1/6 Heath Ledger Joker head by MonkeyRobotMaster

First WIP shot of the laughing head. Still needs a lot of work mostly refinements, but I'd say it's about 70% there. I'll post more pics upon completion, and will then start an interest list.

Main reference.

Looks amazing man! :yess: Any chance you could grease up the hair a tad more? I really like how this head turned out :exactly:

Re: 1/6 Heath Ledger Joker head by MonkeyRobotMaster

No can do before it gets painted man. I use a oil to get the grease affect and I can't put it on before the paint because if any gets on the face the paint won't stick to it. You'll have to have your painter friend do that when he's done, It's really easy. It's just a tiny bit of baby oil applied with a paint brush.

A heads up to the few of you guys that are getting unpainted heads. The grease affect that I do on the hair can't be done until the head is painted. It's really simple though, I just brush on a small amount of baby oil. It doesn't harm the hair or paint and gives that nice greasy look to the hair. I just can't do it before you or whoever paints them because of shipping. Should any of the oil get on the face during shipping it'll be a pain in the butt remove and paint over. Again, it doesn't hurt the paint on the painted heads, so no worries. That is all, carry on. :)

Don't be baby oiling my Daniel Craig sculpt! :lol :panic:

Re: 1/6 Heath Ledger Joker head by MonkeyRobotMaster

:lol just messing about mate. Any progress on that yet mate or has it yet to be started? I know it's going to look amazing because you've blown everyone away with your 1st joker and your WIP laughing sculpt looks just as good!

Re: 1/6 Heath Ledger Joker head by MonkeyRobotMaster

No...haven't started on the Daniel Craig yet...still trudging through the jokers. I'll probably have at least a work in progress sculpt done around the end of February.

Hey is it too late to jump on the list for the next batch?

Re: 1/6 Heath Ledger Joker head by MonkeyRobotMaster

Currently all 30 spots have been filled, however I'll hang on to your name should anyone drop out and decide not to get theirs. If that happens I'll let you know for sure.
