Thanks dude. If I do end up making any changes it will be due to better customer service, not because I want to get people back.


Also, no one seemed to have any problems with the first Indy figure that SS did and the heads are the same size.

The fact that you strive for such customer service is extremely admirable, the way you have addressed all of our nitpicks on the hair and the sculpt etc., i've never seen such a dynamic collaboration between prospective customers and a sculptor - long may that continue!

In this case it is purely your call whether you wish to address it or not, obviously.

I think while head may be true 1/6, if the clothing and the torso etc is not true 1/6 then it kind of defeats the purpose IMO - also, I think what makes this look bigger than your first head is the fact that he's laughing and therefore the vertical length of the head is more elongated, which exarcerbates the effect.

posted some more pics of my jokers in the original joker head thread. heath has a bigger head to start with so im fine with this. he looks awesome. but if zack decides to make him smaller im in as well. thanks dude!

The torso and waist on almost all 1/6 bodies are to small. There's no getting around it, the rest of the body is correct and imo I'd rather not have over sized hands and feet, that bugs me more. Again, the heads are the same size as nearly all the SS heads so I'm not really sure what all the fuss is about. No one has had any problems with 95% of SS's figures, so I don't really get it, but it's up to you guys if you want one or not. I'm fine with it either way.

In short I've decided not to change the size, so anyone else that wants to back out PM me.

Geez, I go to sleep for a little bit and it's a poop explosion in here. Look, it the same size as the first head I did and believe it or not it is to the correct scale to the hands, shoulders, limbs and feet. Though torsos on most doll/figure bodies are really thin to accommodate the layers of clothing. An easy fix is pad out the torso just a bit and if no one want to do that I'll look in to sizing it down, though I don't know how long that will take. I'll do what I can guys.

I agree. I think the first head is a little bigger than ht and looks fine with the layers of clothing. Because its so boarderline, it may just look a little big without the coat and in that paticular pose. Having said that, Im so wanting this sculpt and looking forward to getting him. I also think it represents great value for money and cant be missed imo.

I think I'm beginning to understand why HT makes their heads a bit undersized. With fewer layers of clothes the scale will look right. With all the layers on it may look a bit small. However, a head that's a bit too small is much less noticeable than a head that is too big.

I'f I'm being totally honest I have always preferred HT scale heads to Sideshow scaled heads.

I know I asked this before but is it possible to see this HS next to the DX HS? Just a straight on photo, it would really help me judge the scale difference. Thanks. PS I still think it rocks!!!

Then the hands and feet are too big for there heads, clothes or not something on the figure is always going to be wrong. Plus I've always preferred SS head sizes, just wish the likeness were better.

Regardless of the amount of clothing a figure say like Harvey Dent/ Two-Face has on the figure has a really tiny head.

Bottom line is nothing is perfect and probably never will be there are just too many people working on these figures at once, but I guess if there's going to be such a stink about it I'll have to re-sculpt the head. That won't happen anytime soon though I've got stuff to finish that people have paid for, so I'll do it when I can.

Though my final suggestion would be to try the head on one of the SS Prometheus bodies. I'd do it myself, but I don't have one on hand right now. If anyone is willing to let me borrow one that would be helpful, if not I'll make do. Thanks.

Well this is his normal sculpt next to the dx,so this should give you an idea of the size, as the laughing on is the same size as his first sculpt.

They seem pretty dang close to me. This might be more a scrony HT body than the over sized head IMHO.

They all should look about the same, there will be some minor variations, but that come when things are hand made.

i think the size is perfect you have to take into consideration like MRM said , the mouth is open so the head will be a little longer as the jaw is lowered great sculpt

maybe check out adam's laughing head size? the size of his laughing head was in tune with the HT DX set.
